This has been a wild year for the man briefly known as Jordan Myles in WWE. ACH recently left WWE NXT on very bad terms, after blasting the company for being racist over a T-Shirt design. He seemingly returned back to the independent circuit, working for Major League Wrestling in a surprise appearance during ‘The Opera Cup’. He also set up a few other dates down the line. It looked for a while like he would be fine back on the independent circuit once again.
ACH Makes A Statement On Twitter
On Twitter, where he has made many announcements of late, he announced what seems to be his intent to leave wrestling. He said “I hate pro wrestling. I hate you shity fans that think you know it all! More importantly i hate the snakes in this industry. None of y’all would never say anything about me to me. All of y’all can go screw yourselves. I’m canceling my shows AND I’m quitting pro wrestling. Chasing my dream was great, but you self entitled pricks ruin EVERYTHING. I’m out.” It seems fairly clear that at least for a while, ACH won’t be showing up on shows despite being free from his WWE contract.
MLW who just signed him to a contract simply had this to say “We respect ACH’s decision and want him to be happy.”
What Is Wrong With ACH?
It is unclear what is going on with the man known as ACH. Many are speculating things about his mental state, but frankly that is something few are qualified to actually judge on. It is clear he is going through a difficult time in his life right now. He is giving up his dream of being a professional wrestler, something he has been doing since February of 2007.
It is possible that the fallout of his messy exit from WWE has simply made it too hard on him. Wrestling fans on Twitter can be a brutal bunch, and ACH opened himself up to a lot of likely unwanted feedback with how he handled the situation. It could have also made it hard to get work, and cancelling dates he agreed to certainly won’t help that case.
I can only hope that ACH is able to take a break, solve what is currently going wrong for him, clear his head, and return to what he does best. Retirements in wrestling are something that is never final. Maybe we will never see ACH in the Squared Circle again, but who can tell.
