At Elimination Chamber, Shayna Baszler punched her ticket to Wrestlemania when she tore through five other women in the marquee match. This included Asuka, who put up more fight than the rest but still fell in a matter of minutes. Asuka as of late has been someone who Becky Lynch had trouble defeating, being one of her greatest rivals. Meanwhile, Shayna choked out the woman who went undefeated for years in NXT in moments. Becky Lynch has been needing someone to ground her, and it is time for The Man to come back.
Becky Lynch Has Taken A More Comedic Tone As Of Late
Between shifting her Twitter around to make her account an obsessive Shayna Baszler fan account, to coming out dressed like she escaped a kids birthday party, Becky Lynch has lost her edge as of late. This is not the same woman who turned on Charlotte Flair and would go on to defeat Ronda Rousey. However, her eyes must have been opened after Elimination Chamber. She now has a good grasp on what she is up against with Shayna, and she recognizes that if she takes her lightly, it’s over.
Shayna Baszler Is Ready For Becky Lynch
If anyone can bring back the Becky Lynch that started her rise, it is Shayna. Considering she has already spilled Becky’s blood, things will get heated in the coming weeks.
Following her win at Elimination Chamber, Shayna had the following to say. “Becky Lynch has never faced anyone like me. That’s because there is no one like me. I took a chunk out of Becky Lynch’s neck, and that’s just a taste of what I can do. I just wrecked every other competitor in the Elimination Chamber to send a direct message to Becky Lynch. So Becky, Becky look at me when I’m talking to you. I am going to take the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it, bitch.”
There is a difference between confidence and cockiness, and Shayna is far from cocky. She proved exactly what she can do at Elimination Chamber. Becky Lynch recognizes this threat, and we will see another side of her come out the next time Shayna comes at her.
