We see a video of Chris Jericho in his jacuzzi at home. Says today is a holiday. Just like Martin Luther King day celebrates the doctor, today is April Fool’s Day and he doesn’t know any better fool than the Elite. Says Nick Jackson has a newborn ‘bebby’, maybe he can hire Matt Jackson to be his babysitter. Calls Cody the Tiger King himself, leader of his ragtag menagerie. Calls Matt Hardy ‘Dumbasscus” and notes that when the virus is done and he lets the fans back into the arenas they will still have their Blood and Guts match. Vanguard 1 is coming upon him this whole time. Jericho eventually sees him, tells Vanguard that he knew he’d come. And he’s glad it did because he said some nasty things like week and he just wanted to say that he’s s-s-s-s… can’t say it, but he wanted that to be clear.
Says he still wants Vanguard 1 to join the Inner Circle. Offers him a shirt. Vanguard 1 takes the shirt. Jericho offers to shake on it, or perhaps give him the elbow bump. But Vanguard 1 flies off and Jericho is furious, throwing his bubbly at the drone. He says he’ll get him and yells “Release the hounds!” and a few dogs come running as Jericho howls at the top of his lungs that he’ll get him. Incredible.
In the next video we see the Young Bucks as Matt is wanting to help Nick get back into ringshape.
They have a ring in what appears to be an outdoor basketball court. Matt talks about seeing the ambulance drive off being a surreal moment for him. Thanks God that he’s okay. Nick says he has no idea who took him out, has no memory of even being in an ambulance. He’s trying to return, he wants to return, he misses the fans. Says a return date is hard to say, he’s just gonna keep going and get training. Matt says with the snap of a finger he could’ve been a singles wrestler, he realizes now how lucky he is to have the family he has. Nick says if there’s anything we can learn about the world going on around them, it’s that they shouldn’t take life for granted. As they walk off, Matt asks if he’s ready to get back in the ring yet and Nick says “Not yet”.
