AEW Dark is just about done, just got the main event done. Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon come out of separate tunnels for their entrance which is hilarious. Cutler spins his die but Avalon kicks it and so we don’t get a number this week. They face off against the Natural Nightmares, QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes. Brandi is with Dustin of course… and QT summons the Bunny herself Allie as well, much to their consternation! They hold hands as QT very gentlemanly pulls out a chair for her at the broadcast table. Meanwhile in the ring Cutler and Dustin compare robes and share a fist bump.
The Natural Nightmares vs. Brandon Cutler & Peter Avalon
Dustin with a side headlock, Cutler shoots him off but eats a shoulder block, Dustin with an arm drag, Cutler with a hip toss, they square up and come face-to-face. Allie is so distracted by QT that she doesn’t answer what’s going on with her and the Butcher and the Blade. QT and Avalon tag in, Marshall with a big hip toss! Takes Avalon to the corner, he gets a boot up off the charge, Avalon up top and comes flying off, QT catches him out of the air and takes him down with a vertical suplex! Allie gives a standing ovation to this. QT ducks a clothesline, out to the apron, scambles up top and comes off with a double axe handle! Hits the ropes, Leva trips him up. He ducks a shot from Avalon and smacks the book of Leva’s hand, off the distraction Avalon hits a suicide dive! Cutler does not appreciate the managerial interference.
Avalon throws QT into the ring and pounds him with mounted punches, tag to Cutler. He takes QT into the ropes, he reverses for an O’Connor Roll but Cutler holds onto the ropes to block, Springboard Clothesline for a nearfall! Avalon tags in, rakes the back, shoots him to the ropes for a spinning heel kick for a nearfall! Arm wringer, takes him to the corner, chops to the chest. Cutler tags in, takes the fight to him but QT with a Jawbreaker! Cutler with an enziguri off the rebound though, gets both boots up off a charge! Cutler up top, Senton Atomico, Dustin has to break it up!
Cutler takes QT to his corner again, Marshall fighting his way out, ducks a shot and Cutler nails Avalon. Another miscommunication immediately after and Avalon somehow smashes Cutler’s head into the top buckle by accident. Avalon and Dustin both make tags, Dustin with a series of shots, signature uppercut from the knees! Manhattan Drop, Bulldog, Cutler rushes in but eats a Snap Powerslam, one for Avalon as well for a nearfall! Avalon with a kick to the gut of Dustin, hits his double knees to the back, Cutler with a springboard elbow drop – QT breaks it up! Avalon and Cutler are arguing and they eat stereo clotheslines! Dustin sets Avalon up for the Shattered Dreams, Leva Bates grabs his ankle to stop it. Dustin drags her across the mat. Dustin tells her to get up, she raises up with her book in her hand… Brandi into the ring to turn her around for a Stunner! She then whips Leva into Avalon, forcing a spear! Cutler springboards in but Dustin stops that with a Manhattan Drop! Tag to QT, Canadian Destroyer from Dustin – QT with the Cutter for the win!
Winner: The Natural Nightmares
Allie celebrates the win and notes that the QT Cutter has been renamed to the Red Delicious. Taz tries to explain that he uses green apples but Allie says it’s the wrong apple, he made a poor choice.
Post-match interview with the winners backstage, Dustin gives a lot of credit to Brandi. QT agrees that he couldn’t have done it without her – except he’s talking about Allie, of course.
