AEW Dynamite Results: The Young Bucks vs. The Dark Order

It has been a while since we have seen The Young Bucks step into the ring with Evil Uno & Stu Greyson of Dark Order, but they know each other better than anyone. This time, they don’t meet in a sweaty little legion hall in Reseda, California, they meet in AEW in a match that will make it to TV. On Tag Team Appreciation night, they’re going to show exactly why their two of the best teams in the world.

    Dark Order Attacks Early

Before the Young Bucks could even get off the ramp, they’d be laid out by three Dark Order grunts followed by Evil Uno & Stu Greyson making their way to the ring. Nick Jackson would be thrown into the ring while Matt would be laid out on the stage.

Greyson & Uno would enjoy their advantage, until Matt Jackson would dive off the stage onto everyone in Dark Order at ringside. This wouldn’t save Nick however, who would remain isolated in the enemy corner. He’d fight valiantly, and counter two back suplexes to make the tag into Matt Jackson.

Matt would dive off the top rope with a crossbody, and take out both his opponents with a double clothesline. The Bucks would get their rhythm, and show why they’re one of the best teams around. Uno would get the blind tag and catch Matt off guard after being caught into a German Suplex.

Greyson would hit a flipping senton onto Matt, who lay on the apron trying to catch his breath. Matt is now isolated like his brother was earlier, with Greyson & Uno showing how well they know how to control The Bucks. Just as Matt showed some fight, a fish hook to the eye would stop him.

The fight would spill to the outside, but surrounded by Dark Order grunts meant having to get smart, so Matt crawled under the ring and got back in the ring. Evil Uno would block a kick and feed the leg to the referee, before hitting a nice neckbreaker.

    The Young Bucks Take Control

Greyson would tag in, and Nick would be taken off the apron. Matt would turn into a pump kick from Uno, before being launched onto the shoulders of Greyson where he’d hit a clutch reverse ‘rana and then slip through the legs to make the tag to his brother.

Nick Jackson would absolutely clean house with the best comeback in the business, expertly retaking control and facing two men at once with the greatest of ease. He’d hit a bulldog on one and a nail the other with a lariat. A facebuster then slips through the ropes with a moonsault. However, Greyson knows this hot tag, and caught the moonsault, only for Nick to break out and shove Greyson into the crowd

Uno would take a superkick, and Greyson would leap into one as well. The Young Bucks would hit a moonsault and springboard frog splash on Uno for a near fall. Uno would be draped across the middle rope and Matt Jackson, and be hit with a swanton bomb from Nick.

Greyson got back to the apron, and walked on Unos shoulders to hit a hurricanrana. This would be followed with a jumping knee and be pushed into a belly to belly suplex, sending brother into brother. Greyson went high for a 450 Splash, and Uno crashed into the corner with a cannonball, showing unmatched chemistry, but Nick Jackson kicked out after the 450.

    Finish It!

Uno would be tagged in, and call for this one to be finished while they’re in control. A brainbuster assisted by a spin kick would have ended it, but Matt Jackson made the save. Matt would be thrown to the stage and be blocked by the Dark Order grunt. In the ring, Dark Order went for Fatality, but Nick would roll up Uno and sneak away with the win!

As expected, even after ten years of tag team matches, The Young Bucks, Stu Greyson & Evil Uno still put on instant classics. You’ll find few better tag team combos, and this was a great win for The Young Bucks.
