When Chris Jericho brought the Inner Circle together, it was to give him backup against The Elite. Now, it’s become his family in AEW. He’s become close with Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, & Jake Hager. Things were perfect, until MJF came knocking.
He finally wanted to join The Inner Circle, and would challenge Jericho to a match to prove he belongs in. This led to both MJF & Wardlow joining the faction, but MJF just wants to tear the group apart. Already noticing cracks, Jericho has made things simple for everyone. Get along, or move along alone. What choice will Inner Circle make?
MJF Is The Issue Here
Everyone but Santana would hit the ring, he missed the week due to family issues. However, the issue remains the same. It’s a very serious night, and could be the end of this group. Last week, Jericho gave them seven days to decide if they’re going to keep building up to the most powerful faction in AEW, or they’re done.
The pushing and shoving last week was embarrassing, Sammy & MJF acting like children. Wardlow & Hager want to fight, and it’s just a mess. MJF would take the floor and say he loves them all like brothers. He understands that he’s the issue here, and knows why. MJF knows people think he want to take over or destroy the group.
But he chose to join this group, to build a bond who can’t be broken. He’d mention Sammy, who just got angry in his face. We all watch Dynamite and Jericho knows MJF was the one trying to throw the towel in, and MJF tried to explain himself.
Ortiz Wants Sammy Guevara To Be The Bigger Man
Ortiz took the floor and says that MJF is just an asshole, but is growing on him. He’d ask MJF to shake his hand, and keep the group alive. Chris chose him, and you don’t get to choose the hand you are dealt. Sammy is better than MJF, knows it, and can be the bigger man.
He would shake his hand, because he trusts Chris Jericho. But one more thing goes wrong, and Sammy Guevara quits the faction. Jericho agrees with these terms, they shake hands, and Inner Circle lives on.
Hager & Wardlow would finally address their mutual staring issue, and Jericho wanted them to solve it by just… stopping their staring. That was a lot easier, instead choosing to side-eye each other.
