Since its debut on AEW Dark, The Waiting Room has really allowed Britt Baker to stir the pot in AEW. Tonight, this talk show makes its debut on Dynamite, with a huge guest in ‘The Prince of Professional Wrestling’ Cody Rhodes! Rhodes has had many rivals as of late, from MJF to Sting to Shaq, and Britt Baker is great at getting information out of people like Rhodes!
Cody Rhodes Doesn’t Get A Chance To Talk
Reba would introduce her dentist and ours, Dr. Britt Baker DMD! After a brief shimmy, Baker would start this segment by wasting no time by plugging the Go Big Show, which has some big celebrity judges and Cody Rhodes. She’d follow up by begging Rhodes to pick a rival, and take a shot at his neck tattoo choice, and finally welcome him to the set with some pyro (aka some sprinklers).
Baker would congratulate him on the news of his oncoming baby, but not give Rhodes a chance to respond before getting another guest into the mix! It’s none other than Jade Carigill, the representative of Shaq. Jade would call out Brandi, and would ask when her match is coming. If Brandi ever comes back, Jade will kick her ass, but here is Red Velvet.
Velvet slapped the taste out of Jade’s mouth and got one back before a brawl broke out in The Waiting Room. Baker got on the couch to film this, doing very little to maintain order. Footage of Baker attacking Thunder Rosa would air, before Rosa showed up to finally set the match between Baker & Rosa for AEW Beach Break on Feburary 3rd!
This segment was a complete mess, but in the best way possible. We got no promo time for Cody Rhodes, Baker is irate about having to wrestle Rosa, and The Waiting Room might be discontinued unless Tony Khan loves chaos!
