While Thunder Rosa was the victor on that night, Britt Baker has gotten most of the praise, due to the fact that everyone knew Rosa was that good, but Baker truly proved herself. This week on Dynamite, Baker gets back to annoying Tony Schiavone as he interviews her to see what’s next for everyone’s favorite dentist.
Britt Baker Claims She Put AEW On The Map Last Week
Schiavone would hype the match up as one of the best in AEW Dynamite history, and Baker would be unimpressed with the reception the fans gave her after she went through hell last week. She’s say all the fans are dumb, deliousal and as useless as Thunder Rosa.
Thunder Rosa should be thanking Britt Baker every single day she wakes up, because she will go down in history that Britt Baker wrote in her own blood. That match will live forever, and Baker knows that her gutsy performance is why. However, Rosa had the audacity to say she put the AEW Women’s division on the map. If that’s true, why is everyone talking about Britt Baker?
A New Hardcore Legend Was Born
Baker doesn’t need to hear from everyone that she’s a star. She’d thank Mick Foley for the thumbs up, but it took him twenty years to become a hardcore legend when she did it in one night. Baker had 87 thumbtacks in her back and blood flowing into her eyes, and was never able to see more clearly. Khan is looking to bring in legends and has-beens, but the biggest star he’ll ever get is right here.
Baker claims she put AEW on the map last week, and AEW comes second to DMD now. While she’s obviously boastful, it’s clear Britt Baker could become a franchise player for AEW much like a Jungle Boy or MJF.
