WWE NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver Night Two Results: Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole [Unsanctioned Match]

We could be here all day going over what led to this match, as Kyle O’Reilly & Adam Cole’s careers have always been a bit intertwined. However the catalyst for this unsanctioned match was the jealousy of Adam Cole, a jealousy which has killed The Undisputed Era. A jealousy that saw Cole attack O’Reilly and try to injure him. This jealousy will now lead to Cole & O’Reilly picking up where their last blood feud in ROH left off, with an anything goes match, and two great rivals. Anything can happen here, and it won’t be pretty.

    An Instant Fight

Security made sure that O’Reilly & Cole didn’t touch until the bell rang, before they’d get right into the strikes. O’Reilly was the better striked and hit those running big boots in the corner, before Cole came back with a pump kick. O’Reilly sent Cole over the top rope and hit a body press, and went right into an armbar.

Cole would send O’Reilly off the barricade after breaking free, before being flung into it himself by O’Reilly. O’Reilly grabbed a steel chair, and had Cole take a seat before launching some mid-kicks. Cole looked for a piledriver, but O’Reilly countered and sent him hard to the floor.

O’Reilly applied a chokehold in the ring, but Cole broke free by dumping O’Reilly over the top rope. Again O’Reilly was flung into the barricade, before Cole used a steel chair with the Undisputed Era logo on it. Cole would throw O’Reilly into the steel support beam at ringside, before getting into the ring and attacking the neck of O’Reilly with a steel chair.

O’Reilly was hit with a neckbreaker on the steel chair, before Ushigoroshi dropped him on his neck. Cole went for some pump kicks, but O’Reilly fought through and slammed Cole onto a chair before locking in a knee bar. O’Reilly lost the hold as Cole rolled out and took a seat, before O’Reilly dove in with a knee strike.

Back in the ring, O’Reilly hit Cole with a chair, before grabbing a steel chain. Cole hit O’Reilly with a neckbreaker through the ropes, before grinding the chain into his face. O’Reilly got to using the chain, before Cole managed to get the Figure Four Leg Lock in.

Kyle O’Reilly Doesn’t Want To Go Too Far With Adam Cole

O’Reilly was able to reverse the pressure of the hold, but Cole wouldn’t tap. They’d slug it out, and that finally saw Cole let the hold go. Cole would wrap the chain around the neck of O’Reilly and hit a backstabber. Two chairs would be set up back to back, and Cole had a mean look in his eyes.

He picked O’Reilly up but couldn’t slam him onto them. Cole did hit a German Suplex, and O’Reilly rolled onto the chair and was hit with a Shining Wizard. While O’Reilly laid in the ring, Cole set up the steel steps at ringside with bad intentions again. O’Reilly countered the brainbuster with a choke hold, before kicking Cole down.

However, despite having the chain to do so, O’Reilly wouldn’t brainbuster Cole onto the steel, instead going to the announce table. O’Reilly nailed the brainbuster there, and Cole just bounced off. Cole crawled away, before grabbing a monitor and smacking O’Reilly with it. A tool box was poured into the ring, and a Tire Iron was added to the mix.

O’Reilly grabbed it but took a superkick, before bouncing back with a lariat. Cole was locked into a chain assisted Triangle Choke, but used the Tire Iron to whack O’Reilly in the ribs to break free. They’d both grab a chair and take a seat to start some trash talk, before O’Reilly kicked Cole in the face.

Cole nailed a low blow followed by a superkick to the jaw, but O’Reilly kicked out at two. A chair was wrapped around the neck of O’Reilly, and Cole would grab a chair to whack him, before the referee got involved and tried to prevent murder. Cole dropped him with a forearm, before hitting Panama Sunrise on O’Reilly but then remembering there was no one to count the pin.

Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly Tore The House Down

O’Reilly slipped to the ramp, but had a chair thrown off this head and rolled off. Cole came after and got stuck in a guillotine choke, but drove O’Reilly into the barricade. He’d set up a steel chair, but O’Reilly went for another choke. Cole would hit a spinebuster through the stage to fight out, and he’d be first up.

He went digging to find O’Reilly, breaking drywall to get him, before dragging him back to the ring. O’Reilly rolled out and took the brainbuster on the steel steps, but Cole still wasn’t done. Cole was wanting to end his career in the ring, so he rolled O’Reilly in and pinned him.

O’Reilly barely got a shoulder up, so Cole set up Last Shot. He’d collapse before Cole would hit, and O’Reilly had one last grasp and locked in a knee bar. Cole worked fast to wrap his hand with a chain, and punched O’Reilly between the eyes. The Panama Sunrise would be countered into an Ushigoroshi, before O’Reilly hit a PK.

He’d hit a Last Shot on Cole, and somehow only get a two count. A chair was wrapped around the leg of Cole, as O’Reilly went up top but he was too slow. Cole got free and hit him with the chair, before looking to impale O’Reilly on one of the legs. O’Reilly hit a low blow as Cole wasted time talking trash. He’d wrap the chain around his knee, and hit the knee drop onto Cole, through a chair, to finally win this match.
