Ben Affleck’s purported reconciliation with Jennifer Lopez made huge waves across the internet, with many suggesting that the two could give their love life another go. And the story became so talked about that #Bennifer began to trend on social media. That excitement has also spread to Tayshia.
During an appearance at the MTV Movie & TV Awards: Unscripted, Tayshia confirmed what the whole world was feeling. She said: “I’m not sure that you guys have been following the news, but a huge story came out recently, and I’m here to set the record straight… Bennifer is back, baby!
“And that is all I want to talk about.” Tayshia, for her part, certainly has a lot to talk about. And yet, Ben and Jennifer’s relationship was not exactly the first thing on the mind of the fans. Tayshia is currently taking over Chris Harrison as a host on The Bachelorette. Her time on the show has already thrown up some interesting talking points.
The show’s lead, Katie Thurston, has been portrayed in a positive and negative light. Katie was recently criticised over her social media activity, after posting a photo of her kissing another woman, which caused mass outrage amongst the LGBTQ community. She was accused of mocking such relationships, especially since she is on the show looking for a man.
In addition, she was aware of the show’s recent bombshell: Colton Underwood’s decision to come out gay. And that very disclosure put Tayshia at the heart of things. She had been romantically involved with Colton prior to his revelations. While she wished him all the best in the aftermath, there is no denying that she felt a little misled, especially since they were very close.
But that is all behind her now. In an interview on the Click Bait podcast, she stated: “I have to say, I was a little shocked at first.
