Bayley, Asuka, and Lacey Evans to Return and Give a Much Needed Boost to WWE’s Women’s Division

The WWE has been trying to boost their women’s division by bringing in past stars Ronda Rousey and Legend Lita following releases, and they’re going to get a boost of three top tier talents in the coming weeks.

Bayley, Asuka, and Lacey Evans are all expected or hoped to be returning in time for WrestleMania, but there hasn’t been any announcements made on their returns or possible storylines.

The timing couldn’t be better as the WWE hasn’t had much success developing new stars, and those they were mostly released for budgetary reasons.

    Returning from injury

Bayley tore her ACL in July and she’s been dropping hints on social media that she’s almost ready to return.

Dave Meltzer threw his hat into the ring by saying she’s expected back before WrestleMania, so we can expect a storyline for her to start before too long.

Bayley was arguably the best in the world and was definitely the top of the WWE when she was injured, but she’s good enough to come out with a “Did you miss me?” and laugh and regain instant heat as a heel and reclaim her spot.

Asuka is also expected to return before WrestleMania, and like Bayley, she’s reportedly been out since July with an injury.

She’s a fun talent that always gives her all, and hopefully this time the WWE can recapture the Asuka dominance from NXT.

There are plenty of rumors out there about the WWE putting them in a feud with each other on their return, but we think it’s also likely they’ll be part of a bigger story to help put others over.

    Training her heart out

Rumor has it the Southern Belle Lacey Evans will be returning as well after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl October.

As we’d expect, she’s been training for her in ring return and Meltzer noted that she’s likely to return.

Her charisma and mic skills have been missed as well as her in ring work, and we’re curious if she’ll return as a heel or a face.

She’s good at both, but we think she’s a better heel, plus she looks like she has fun with it.

The impact these ladies will have on the women’s division and roster in general will be immediate and help lift the company up is they’re booked right.

The WWE is building this WrestleMania to be one that lives up to the name after the last few have fallen short, and it looks like they could pull it off if they get the rest of their house in order.

Which returning superstar are you most excited to see back? Let us know in the comments below.
