Drake has spoken out after claims that he used his private jet for a 14-minute flight.

The rapper certainly has one of the finest jets on offer dubbed ‘Air Drake.’ And he appeared to have gotten on the wrong side of the climate-change activists, who felt that he was unnecessarily using his jet for short flights.
It is alleged that his plane was seen taking off from Hamilton to Toronto on July, 12th 2022 after having made the same trips on June 28th and June 17th. But rather than this being a case of personal use, Drake had an innocent explanation for it all.
In his comments, he said: “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics…nobody takes that flight.” This is not the first time that a high-profile celebrity has been called out for their private jet usage.
Just recently, Kylie Jenner was bashed after claims that she used her jet in order to take a three minute flight. And to make matters worse, the star did not help herself as she flaunted her jet on social media alongside one belonging to Travis Scott.
The backlash had then gotten so severe that Kylie was referred to as a ‘climate criminal.’ The fans on social media had a lot to say about this.
While people recognised that Drake’s conduct may have offended some people, others argued that this yardstick had to be applied across the board. One person wrote: “Go after Trudeau and his jet setting.
“He is the climate warrior, not Drake. The hypocrisy of Canadian media never ceases to amaze me.” Drake may have justified it this time around, but if something similar were to happen again, then the reaction could be just as bad, if not worse.
