We’re quickly coming up to the next Ring of Honor PPV event, Death Before Dishonor. The card is slowly being revealed, with the main event already clear with a Fatal Four Way Elimination Match over the ROH World Championship. However, ROH has thrown out some mystery on this card – with the first now being revealed. The names who will challenge Violence Unlimited is now clear – including perhaps the future of Pure Wrestling with Lee Moriarty.
Lee Moriarty Is Ready To Step Up Alongside LSG & John Walters
At Death Before Dishonor, Lee Moriarty will be making his long awaited ROH debut. Violence Unlimited wanted three great pure wrestlers, calling for the past, present and future- and got just that. Former ROH Pure Champion John Walters is the past, LSG is the present, and Lee Moriarty is the future. Considering Brody King is in the main event match on this PPV, we can expect them to be taking on a trio of Homicide, Chris Dickinson and Tony Deppen at the show.
Lee Moriarty is truly someone who fits the look and skillset that ROH is always looking for, being one of the top technical wrestlers around today. He recently showed up in AEW, but remains a free agent. Fans of ROH are sure to fall in love with ‘The Apex of Combat’, and could be chanting for him to be signed by the end of the match. He was originally set to be in the ROH Pure Tournament, but was unable to appear in the rescheduled version.

However, while we now know the Pure Wrestlers who have stepped up, we don’t yet know who the recently released talents who are set to show up will be. ROH has flat out mentioned they come from the NXT releases, and have named them as debuting names. This knocks Bobby Fish, Alex Zayne & Tyler Rust out, but leaves names like Tyler Breeze, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari on the table.
Buddy Matthews is another possible name who could be showing up, though he seems set to end up in AEW alongside Malakai Black. This card is only going to grow as we get closer. Who do you hope to see at Death Before Dishonor? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
