The couple had allegedly fallen out following Brady’s decision to come out of retirement from the NFL on the basis that Gisele wanted him to spend more time with the children.
And given that she had supported his NFL career, this was the least she apparently wanted him to do. But things have not panned out smoothly, as shown by Gisele’s absences from Brady’s home games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
And it may now have come to a head, with neither side budging. One person on social media wrote: “I mean… if the deal was that they would enjoy more time together and he broke the deal to go play some more… I get it.
“Gisele wants to live the life and Tom wants to go back to work,” while another person stated: “He’s choosing his career over his family.
“And before y’all say she’s not supporting him, football is a dangerous sport and what if he gets a concussion or suffers from CTE , then she’ll be the one having to take care of him, not the fans.”
A divorce could have massive implications for Brady, in particular, going forward. First of all, there is a suggestion that his performances in the NFL could drop. After all, it is going to take some time for him to get over this if he does get divorced.
Secondly, there is also a chance that his children may become more distant depending on how the co-parenting arrangements potentially play out.
It was no secret that they were absent from his last home game with the Kansas City Chiefs, which ended in a defeat for Brady.
Lastly, in any event, there is going to come a point were Brady can no longer compete at the highest level. And if he is divorce by then, where does he go moving forward?
