I’m a hardcore wrestling fan, by which I mean I’m a hardcore fan of wrestling... but I also have nothing against hardcore wrestling! I’ve been watching since 2006, back when I was 12 years old. In that time I’ve fervently followed WWE, TNA, ROH, Lucha Underground and others. Today I’m most passionate about NXT, New Japan and especially AEW! You could call me a modern wrestling savant but I know my old school stuff as well... I’ll be your huckleberry all night long.

Sheamus has been out of action for quite some time. He was last seen the week after WrestleMania. On that week’s SmackDown, the former WWE Champion (and United States, Tag Team, World Heavyweight, Money In The Bank, King Of The Ring and Royal Rumble winner) suffered a concussion and has been out ever since. It’s thought to have been a severe one as it kept him out of action for quite a long time and many speculated on a potential retirement. Given his age, his career did seem somewhat in jeopardy and many believed that it was a realistic possibility…

The show still ongoing here, but the first match of tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown just concluded at the time of writing. And it was quite the encounter. Roman Reigns, in front of a crowd that absolutely adored him, like the top guy dare I say, was made to look stronger than ever before. He took on a game Robert Roode, and deflected constant interference from both King Corbin and Dolph Ziggler to eventually get the win in what was genuinely a very good match. Felt pretty hot, all things considered. But that was only the beginning. Afterwards, Dolph Ziggler…

WWE SmackDown is on-going as I type this. The opening segment just wrapped up as I speak, in which Roman Reigns opened up the show. He gave thanks for his partners at Survivor Series – Mustafa Ali, Shorty G, Braun Strowman – all of them aside from King Corbin. He put over his team big for defeating NXT and Raw in the 5-on-5-on-5 men’s traditional Survivor Series elimination match. He asked to have Corbin out there, demanding a thank you for winning on his behalf. When King Corbin mocked this, Roman asked him to wrestle him in the ring tonight…

It’s Friday Night, which means another edition of WWE SmackDown. Come hell or high water I have managed to get three preview pages out of what WWE has given me today. We know that Roman Reigns will be opening the show. And we’ve been told that Bray Wyatt will be introducing a new cast member to the Firefly Funhouse. As far as matches go, The New Day will be defending the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Titles in an open challenge. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer and I will as always be here to give you the live play-by-play of…

We’re just drudging along with tonight’s preview of WWE SmackDown. And even less than an hour before the show starts, they are giving us very little to go on, even when they do announce things! And I feel I’d be lucky for them to announce anything else, but hey. I’m just glad they’re saying anything at all at this point. I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer and I don’t mean to drag you down with whining. After all the name of the game is analysis! So let’s get into this tidbit. Roman Reigns will be opening WWE SmackDown here tonight.…

Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here with Part 2 of tonight’s WWE SmackDown preview. As I type we are an hour and a half away from showtime, and just a few minutes ago they were nice enough to announce a second segment for tonight! And we’ve actually got a match here for this one, a championship match at that! Granted, we only know one half of it… but beggars can’t be choosers~ The New Day will be defending their WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships in an open challenge! Kofi Kingston and Big E are looking to be fighting champs and…

WWE SmackDown is on tonight and as is often the case with WWE TV shows, they are slow to roll out announcements. As I type, they just now revealed the SECOND thing that they have planned for this show! For someone with a job like mine, that is uh, pretty inconvenient. But hey, they’re probably still rewriting and finalizing the script as we speak so you gotta expect that. All the same, let’s go ahead and get to what little we currently have… I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer, with the first of the previews for tonight’s WWE SmackDown! Bray…

Well. A lot happened with the NWA after last week’s episode of Powerrr to say the very least. You can read about what went down here. As I said in that article, Jim Cornette’s ‘resignation’ leaves them in a tricky spot due to having several episodes already taped. Reshooting them would likely not be the easiest thing in the world to do for a promotion of their size. So, we’ll see how they handle things, starting with this episode right here. Jordan Huie of the Overtimer with a better-late-than-never night of recap action. It’s NWA Powerrr! We begin with a…

Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here with a better-late-than-never recap of AEW Dark! My apologies for the delay for both this and NWA Powerrr. I fully intended to do both on Tuesday, but I was caught up with flight delays and such that kept me out of the house for much longer than expected and when I got back, I was exhausted. But I am getting to it here, blow-by-blow play-by-play! Tony Schiavone introduces us, today he’s in front of a different greenscreen that sees him standing in front of an empty arena. Says Dasha isn’t with us tonight before…

Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here for another night of recap action. It’s AEW Dynamite! We’ve got plenty on tap tonight, which I’ve previewed fairly extensively. (MJF vs. Hangman Page | Kenny Omega vs. PAC | Cody’s Return To The Ring | Chris Jericho’s Thanksgiving Thank You Celebrashon For Le Champion | Chris Jericho vs. Scorpio Sky) And now, for the live play-by-play of the show as it happens! Watch this space. We open seeing a marching band with trumpets, huge mascots, a portrait of Innercircle in the ring, and Soultrain Jones!!! Huge ovation. Soultrain welcomes us to the greatest…
