Friday Night SmackDown has begun! Four-way tag team match, Miz & John Morrison vs. Heavy Machinery vs. Revival vs. Lucha House Party is up now! My name is Jordan Huie of the Overtimer and I’ll be here to give you the live recap and results from the show as they come!
Four-Way Tag Team Match: John Morrison & The Miz vs. Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic & Tucker Knight) vs. The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) vs. Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Gran Metalik & Lince Dorado) (Winners face the New Day at WWE Super Show-Down)
Tucker Knight takes control of Dash Wilder to start, tag to Otis who gets him in a bear hug. He escapes to tag in Dawson who comes Otis up. Morrison and Gran Metalik tag in. Morrison avoids Metalik’s flying, sweeps him, standing shooting star gets avoided! Metalik with a Lucha Arm Drag, dropkick to the Miz as he runs in, Sunset Flip Bomb for a nearfall, Revival have to break up the pin. Lince Dorado with a crossbody through the Revival, assisted dropkick also takes them down. Heavy Machinery into the ring to lift them up, but LHP escapes for dropkicks to take them outside. Lince springboards to the floor but Revival catch him and brutally post him!
Morrison takes out Metalik inside the ring, goes up top… turns for the sudden corkscrew crossbody to everyone outside! Miz is all by himself in the ring. Morrison signals for him to do a flip tope! Sure thing buddy! Miz hits the ropes but Dawson clips him with a clothesline in the ring. Metalik with an Asai Moonsault onto a group of folks as we go to commercial break! We return to see John Morrison holding Lince in a headlock. Miz tags in as he slips out, Handspring Stunner to both men!
Metalik’s been taken out on the outside, so he has to make the tag to Otis.
Otis just plows through tons of folks, belly bumps and shoulder blocks. Tosses Morrison, spinning scoop slam on the Miz. Tucker into help him out, clotheslines and crossbodies! Morrison kicks Otis in the gut and he jiggles in response. Catches a foot! Overhead Belly To Belly! Splash on both Miz and Morrison and they prat fall! Crowd rises for the Caterpillar! Hits it on both! Covers Miz for a nearfall. They want the Compactor on Miz but Revival break that up, slams Miz anyway but Dash Wilder who just blindtagged in gets an Oklahoma Roll for a nearfall. Lince tags in and get a big splash for a nearfall, Heavy Machinery have to break that up. Springboard Spear from Morrison! But Otis with a Sit-Out Powerbomb.
Everything breaking down hard here, Lince with a superkick, moonsault from the bottom rope and then from the second rope! Wants to finally finish with a top rope one but gets tripped up by Dash Wilder. Superplex, splash from Revival but Miz stops the pin, Skull Crushing Finale from Miz, Starship Pain from Morrison for the victory.
Winners: John Morrison & The Miz
Unless I’m just really bad at writing and seeing quick tags at the same time, that was as rife with phantom tags as any match I’ve ever seen. Not bad aside from that though.
