The following is a report on Pro Wrestling Noah’s second match from their first event on DDT Universe on January 30, 2020, following their acquisition by CyberAgent.

The RATEL’s team of Tadasuke, Hayata, and Yo-Hey faced the Stinger trio of Global Honor Crown (GHC) Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Kotaro Suzuki, Atushi Kotoge, and Chris Ridgeway.
This was an exciting match, but not a spectacular match where all involved had their opportunity to shine. Yo-Hey and Chris Ridgeway stood out for their solid performance, in what was a good showcase of junior heavyweight tag team wrestling.

The RATEL’s team defeated Stinger (10:31) after a unique Superkick (Hayata) into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb (Yo-Hey) counter on Kotoge, in what was the highlight moment of the bout. The match was successful in the story the workers were attempting to tell. Leading up an altercation after Yo-Hey scored the fall over one-half of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.

Suzuki and Kotoge defeated Hayata and Yo-Hey for the junior tag team championship on November 26, 2019, during the Starting Over tour. The January 30th victory by the RATEL team is likely to lead to them making the V2 challenge against Suzuki and Kotage later in the year.
Despite being lower on the card, the RATEL’s and Stinger units are the two more exciting units in Pro Wrestling Noah (NOAH), it will be interesting to see how their rivalry continues forward.
