Hiromu came into the match after gaining the fall over CHAOS member “Sniper of the Skies” Robbie Eagles on November 29th, while Sho was able to gain the fall over “Way to the Grand Master” Master Wato on the same night.
The highly competitive match got off to a quick start as Desperado wasted no time in attempting to gain the upper hand on the in-form champion. However, the match evolved into Llave v Llave chain wrestling match, before speeding up to a modern Junior Heavyweight style.
The third series match of the event saw former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) member Bushi take on “Way to the Grand Master” Master Wato accompanied by his sensei former four-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroyoshi Tenzan.
The second series match of the event saw former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and Best of the Super Juniors 19 (2012) winner “Funky Weapon” Ryusuke Taguchi take on CHAOS member “Sniper of the Skies” Robbie Eagles in a swing match for both competitors. Eagles needed a victory to keep any hopes of a BOSJ 27 Finals appearance alive.
