The two competitors have been teaming together on NJPW Strong as of late, but the two friends drew each other in the opening round of the Super J Cup 2020 campaign.

TJP is a graduate of the original NJPW Los Angeles (LA) Dojo and is an interesting entry into the Super J Cup 2020 field. He’s been a regular of NJPW Strong since its inception. While he has had success in single-elimination tournaments earlier in his career, his opening round contest against ACH presents a unique challenge.
ACH made his return to NJPW earlier this year. In the past, he competed in Best of the Super Juniors 24 (2017) and 25 (18), giving him experience within the companies tournament system. However, Super J Cup 2020 will be the first single-elimination tournament he’s taken part in within NJPW.
Since making his Impact Wrestling [Impact] debut in February 2019, Chris Bey has gone on to become X Division Champion and make a name for himself within the company. While his reign wasn’t lengthy, Bey solidified himself as a worthy challenge for any junior champion across the world.
