Coming into the match Dangerous Tekkers dropped the fall to former six-time IWGP Heavyweight Champions and Bullet Club members Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga/Tanga Loa) on November 22nd, while Cobb/O-Khan defeated former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions and WTL 2019 winners FinJuice (Juice Robinson/David Finlay).

The third series match of the event saw former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, BOSJ 25 winner, and Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) member “Time Bomb” Hiromu Takahashi face Suzuki-Gun member Douki. While Douki came into the match winless during the BOSJ 27 campaign, his growth in form is clear to when he made his NJPW debut during BOSJ 26.

The marquee series match of the event saw a match between two Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) members as former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and BOSJ 25 winner “Time Bomb” Hiromu Takahashi (1-1) [2 points] took on former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Bushi (1-1) [2 points] in a swing marquee match for both competitors.

The opening series match of the event saw NJPW Noge Dojo Young Lion Yuya Uemura (0-2) [0 points] take on Suzuki-Gun member El Desperado (1-1) [2 points]. Uemura came into the match after dropping the fall to former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) member Bushi on November 18th. El Desperado gained an upset victory over the former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, BOSJ 25 winner, and LIJ member “Time Bomb” Hiromu Takahashi on the same night.
