WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues, following that airing of the Triple H/Roman Reigns WrestleMania 32 match. Triple H is being interviewed since he’s one of few to have faced off with both Reigns and Goldberg. He says that both of them bring an incredible amount of intensity. But the biggest difference is that when he looks at Roman it’s a man whose intensity builds, but with Goldberg it’s an intensity that’s at it’s peak from the very beginning and that doesn’t last. The flame burns bright but it goes out quick. Therefore the winner of the match, to him, depends on how long it’ll go. If it’s a short match it’s all Goldberg, if it goes long his money is on Roman.
We see an interview with the New Day talking about their upcoming match with the Usos. Big E calls the Usos their sons and reminisces about his pappy bending him over his knee, which he can’t do no more, and telling him “This will hurt me more than it hurts you”. Tells the Usos it will pain them to do this, but their daddys have to become eight-time tag team champions.
Then we cut to Dolph Ziggler talking to Sonya Deville about how everything’s coming together. Mandy Rose appears and Sonya leaves. Rose asks why Dolph is doing this to Otis. Ziggler reminds her that he stood her up. Mandy asks if he really had to rub it in with the pictures last week, Dolph admits that perhaps he messed up.
Then the Firefly Funhouse segment begins, but Bray seems a little distracted.
He wants to teach us something but the lantern that the Fiend wields begins to whisper to him. Bray tells him to shut up, he had his chance against John Cena and he failed. Sister Abigail calls Bray even more deluded now than ever and asks if he has the secret recipe to beating John Cena. Bray says he does, and proves it by putting a bunch of ingredients into a blender. Those ingredients are disappointment, self-loathing, rage and resentment.
Ramblin’ Rabbit offers him a carrot to help him “see” John Cena and Bray takes him up on it, before throwing Rabbit in as well, calling him the last ingredient he needed: unnecessary opinions! Ramblin’ Rabbit begs him not to but he turns it on and blends him up. As he drinks the concoction, he challenges John Cena to a Firefly Funhouse match at WrestleMania. But it’s gone one nasty side effect… the screen fades before he explains what he means.
