WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues with Bayley and Sasha Banks making their way out. Sasha seems to be in a particularly Lita-inspired getup with the olive-colored vest and the black denim jeans. Bayley says it was just three weeks ago when they stood in this ring and the annoying, jealous Paige tried to stack the odds against her, to make her lose the title and drive a wedge between her and Sasha. For all the sheep who thought she’d lose the title and her friendship, she has two words. Sasha says “Screw you”. But as she keeps on talking, Tamina interrupts. Sasha and Bayley look nervous as they try to flatter her.
Bayley says her hair looks great and she smells great. She’s happy that she’s here because they wanted to congratulate her on their dominant performance at WrestleMania. Tamina grabs a mic and tells her to shut the hell up because she didn’t beat her at Mania. It took all four of them to eliminate her. So she asks the Role Model to be a great example and fight her one-on-one for the title. Sasha speaks for Bayley and says she knows she just came back after hiding in whatever coconut shell she’s been in for the past year but there’s a pecking order around here and you can’t make demands of the champ.
Bayley is holding Sasha back and perhaps trying to get her to stop insulting her.
But Bayley does tell Tamina that she’s lucky that she’s holding her back right now. Bayley then lets Tamina know that she will accept her challenge… IF she can first defeat the blueprint, the best of all time, Sasha Banks next week! Sasha is looking pretty nervous about that one. Tamina accepts that and tells Sasha Banks that her bestie just screwed her over before making her leave.
Honestly part of me really did not expect to see Tamina again post-WrestleMania but it seems like she’s actually back now. Which, is always something that should be taken with a grain of salt with her, she comes and goes more than basically anybody. There was nothing particularly strange about her disappearing for a year and coming out of nowhere for that title match, that’s really what she does, but to actually stick around for the foreseeable future would be a bit of a shock.
