WWE Monday Night Raw is on tonight. Below you will see the results of the show as they come and links to recaps.
Segment 1: In the opening match, Asuka took on Liv Morgan. It was a pretty good hard fought match. In the end Asuka caught her with the Asukalock and though Liv did everything she could to try and escape, eventually Asuka pulled her down to the mat and forced the submission.
Segment 2: The Street Profits defended their WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Angel Garza and Austin Theory, a rematch from WrestleMania 36. It ended with a rather awkward DQ with Zelina Vega interfering. A brawl broke out and Bianca Belair made the save just like the night before. Belair then challenged Zelina to meet her in the ring.
Segment 3: Continuation of Segment 2. After a commercial, Belair and Vega were indeed facing off in a singles match. Belair largely dominated until Austin Theory got involved. This spurred on a brawl between the two tag teams which spilled into the ring, forcing a No Contest. Montez Ford finally challenged the heels to a six-person mixed tag match. The match itself saw the Street Profits eventually chase Angel Garza and Austin Theory out of the ring as Bianca finished off Zelina Vega with the K.O.D.
Segment 4: Aleister Black then faced off against Apollo Crews, who is officially moving to Monday Night Raw now. It was a shockingly long match and was easily the longest Apollo has ever had on television since signing with WWE. After escaping the Black Mass on two key occasions, finally Crews found himself nailed with one and Black took the surprisingly hard fought victory.
Segment 5: In a match that established them as a full time tag team, Ricochet & Cedric Alexander teamed up once more to face off with and defeat the scrappy NXT tandem of Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch in short order.
Segment 6: Seth Rollins squashes Performance Center trainee Denzel Dejournnette. Nia Jax makes her return after just about a full year on the shelf and squashes Deonna Purrazzo.
Segment 7: Humberto Carrillo took on Brendan Vink and after a brief struggle, he managed a comeback and got the relatively easy win. We then see footage from after McIntyre’s title victory over Brock Lesnar where the Big Show came out to challenge him on the spot. After slapping him across the face he goaded him into a title match. Worn out from his match with Lesnar, Drew was at a disadvantage for most of the match but eventually hit the Claymore and got the victory, thus making it through his first title defense.
