As always, another Monday brings us another iteration of WWE Raw. And as always, you’ll be able to see the live recap and results from the show as they come below. Watch this space for the WWE Monday Night Raw results!
Segment 1: Becky Lynch opens the show, curiously carrying the Women’s MITB briefcase to put on a stand. She gives a speech talking about how the fans are the reason she got where she was. Asuka comes out and Becky announces that last night’s MITB match was not for a shot at the RAW Women’s title but was actually for the title outright, opening up the briefcase to reveal the title was inside all along. Becky tells Asuka to go be a warrior as she goes to be a mother.
Segment 2: In a follow-up to last week’s Gauntlet match, Bobby Lashley takes on Humberto Carrillo in a No DQ match. In a competitive enough bout, Lashley ultimately got the win with a Full Nelson.
Segment 3: Next up, Angel Garza and Akira Tozawa squared off in a match that entirely started off-screen. Garza got the victory but also made it clear he was not happy with Austin Theory who was at ringside for the match. Afterwards however, Drew McIntyre emerged and sent Angel and Theory packing with a couple of Claymore Kicks before going toe-to-toe with Andrade.
Segment 4: WWE Champion Drew McIntyre took on WWE United States Champion Andrade in a champion vs. champion match set up by that last segment. McIntyre got the victory and then announced a brand-to-brand invitational system which basically seems to mean anyone can go anywhere. McIntyre calls out King Corbin.
Segment 5: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross set up a little Moment of Bliss segment in the ring with the returning IIconics as their guests. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay call out the Women’s Tag Team Champions and get a non-title match against them.
Segment 6: The IIconics defeated Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a non-title match. Rey Mysterio explains that his drop off the roof at Money In The Bank was actually only six feet.
Segment 7: R-Truth, Cedric Alexander & Ricochet defeated MVP, Brendan Vink & Shane Thorne only to be jumped by Bobby Lashley afterwards.
Segment 8: Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black faced off with Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy. The match ended in DQ after Rollins pulled Rey to the floor as the illegal man. Seth then drove Rey’s eye into the edge of the steps until it began to bleed.
Segment 9: The Street Profits defeated The Viking Raiders in a 2-on-2 Basketball Game. Shayna Baszler repeatedly rips into Becky Lynch and motherhood, much to Natalya’s chagrin.
Segment 10: Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya.
Segment 11: Edge came out and claimed his issues with Orton were done but Randy came out to challenge him to a pure wrestling match, something he still hasn’t had since 2011.
