AEW Dark continues. David Ali comes out to face off with Lance Archer. Archer drags a giant production truck assistant out to the ring and clotheslines the hell out of him, leaving him crumpled in a heap as he rolls to the floor. Jake Roberts comes out and even he seems a little appalled by the random act of violence. Hilariously Taz talks about how jealous he is of Roberts for having Archer. Also we abruptly have an audience for this match when none of the earlier matches had one, it took me off-guard a little bit actually.
Lance Archer vs. David Ali
Ali and Archer stare down until Archer nails him with a big boot and sends him flying all the way into the corner. Stomps him into the buckles, pulls him up and whips him but then just shoves him face first into the canvas. That was kind of funny. Archer with a bunch of crossface forearms to the chest as Roberts grins at the pain. Lance yells into the camera lens. Takes Ali into the corner and delivers a ruthless overheaded chop to the chest. Charges for a series of back elbows, just smashing him repeatedly, the third one drops him like a sack of hammers. Archer again goes to the camera and talks about how he wants to kick Billy’s ass too.
Archer steps onto the head of poor Ali and grinds him into the canvas. The ref wants him to stop and Lance intimidates him forcing him into the ropes. Archer goes for a chokeslam, Ali escapes behind him, few leg kicks and a European Uppercut actually staggers him into the corner! Ali charges but Archer counters with a biiig uranage! Ruthless forearm nailed, he sets Ali up against the corner, exposing the ribs for a kick and then another right to the face! Goozle into a single handed back throw, hurling him through the air! Finally he hoists him way up into the air and plants him with the Blackout! Covers, but he pulls him up right before the three and smiles villainously! And there is the claw, grabbing him by the head and slamming his head into the mat repeatedly before covering him for the academic three count.

Afterwards, Archer hoists the poor guy up off the mat and plants him with a chokeslam!
