While this match seems like it was made for AEW Dark, it will be gracing Dynamite. Two lowercard women in AEW will clash, just a week after Hikaru Shida announced her open challenge for the AEW Championship, and Nyla Rose gained Vickie Guerrero as a manager. Diamante was coming in with a 1-3 record, picking up her first win on AEW Dark. Meanwhile, Iveliesse was making her AEW debut in this match. Who would win?
Solid Back And Forth Action
Iveliesse would throw hands to start this match, but Diamante would give as good as she took. An armdrag would drop Ivelisse, who would respond with one of her own. Shida watched this one closely from ringside.
A wheelbarrow armdrag would drop Ivelisse, and would rush into the corner with a back elbow. Diamante would take several elbows herself though, but came back with a dropkick to the knee.
It would go to the outside, and they’d exchange chops before Iveliesse would be driven into the barricade and apron. Diamante would break the ten count to keep the outside brawl going, but be dropped with a kick to the head. Back in the ring, Iveliesse would get a two count. A sleeper hold would grind her opponent down, but the hold wouldn’t stick.
Diamante Continues Her Winning Ways
Diamante would come back with a cravate, but Iveliesse would fight out. Again, this would break down into a brawl, chops and kicks being thrown. Diamante would hit a big german suplex, but only get a two count. Iveliesse would hit a blue thunder bomb, but only get a near fall as well. Diamante would grab an inside cradle and steal the win.
Will we see Diamante go on to face Hikaru Shida soon? Should she have more matches first? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
