Per Super Luchas, former AAA Reina de Reinas Champion, Keyra, wants her championship back. The AAA wrestler is one of the best local talents in the company. In 2019, Keyra was the champion but had to vacate it because of an injury. Tessa Blanchard won the title and later lost it to Taya Valkyrie. Now, Keyra wants to pursue what she never lost.
Here’s the report by Apolo Valdés:
Although there is still no date for the return of the wrestling functions and the future of the AAA events is unknown, Keyra still remembers that she did not lose the [AAA’s] Reina de Reina championship in the ring, but that was due to an injury; she had to leave vacant the title, so now she thinks about getting it back.
Lucha Libre AAA revealed a video where Taya can be seen preparing for one of the functions before the pandemic, next to her appears Keyra, who takes the scepter and threatens to recover it.
“I’m the champion, ok?” Comments in Taya’s video after Keyra took the championship.
“Well, your days as Champion are numbered, enjoy what is mine,”[…]

Super Luchas further reports:
Keyra’s reign was short, because after conquering it in a function in Merida, in a three-corner fight against Lady Shani and Chik Tormenta, she held the belt for two months, although at that time she could never defend it.
For Triplemania XXVII, Keira had to vacate the belt due to an injury, which fell to Tessa Blanchard after a match against 6 rivals, although in her first defense she was dethroned by Taya [Valkyre] in September 2019.
At the moment there is no news of the future of AAA events, however, even that speaks of the possibility of being able to see Triplemania XXVIII, although this event could be behind closed doors or with much less fans than normal.
Although currently only the hair-to-hair fight between Pagano and Chessman is agreed, the duel for the Queen of Queens between Taya and Keira is an option for the card.
No doubt that Taya versus Keyra will be money for AAA. Right, in Mexico, the company holds the best female talent in all the country. Yet, things still look strange and AAA might as well include more female talent to have more participation. Covid-19 in Mexico is increasing, its cases are only surpassed by Brazil and the United States. If TripleMania goes forward, as the report states, will be through close doors, without fans.
