As we get closer and closer to All Out, Darby Allin is gaining steam once again. He was close to winning the AEW Championship a few weeks back, but Jon Moxley was too much for him to overcome. His focus is now on Brian Cage & Ricky Starks, who have unfinished business with him. Allin would be in action tonight, would his rivals show up?
Darby Allin vs. Will Hobbs
The opponent of Darby Allin would be imposing Will Hobbs, who has been on AEW Dark as of late. He came in with a size advantage, but that doesn’t matter when it comes to Darby Allin. He’d hit the ring and dropkick Hobbs instantly, sending him to the outside.
Allin would dive into Hobbs, and throw him back into the ring. The bell would finally sound, and Allin would hit a springboard crossbody, being caught by Hobbs. Allin would be thrown behind his opponent, and hit the knee hard with a chop block. Hobbs would hit a big back body drop on Allin, and then flapjack him face first into the match.
Allin would be hit with some haymakers into the corner, and be slammed hard into the mat once again, getting a near fall. He’d get back into this match with some chops, before being dropped with a single strike. A huge spinebuster would plant Allin into the mat, but he’d fight out of a powerslam into a stunner.
Allin would hit the ropes for a springboard back elbow, finally dropping Hobbs. He’d quickly scale the turnbuckle, hit the Coffin Drop and this one was done. Following this win, Taz would leave commentary and call Allin out.
Ricky Starks & Brian Cage Attack Allin
He’d tell Allin that Team Taz is flourishing, and they have a new member whose name is also Darby. Ricky Starks would come out dressed like Darby Allin, and mock the melancholy promo style of Allin. He’d berate Allin for using that thumbtack filled skateboard and tearing his back open weeks back.
While Allin was distracted by Starks, Cage came from behind with the FTW Championship, hitting him right in the head. Starks would tell Allin that he doesn’t need facepaint to have personality, and then batter him with the skateboard. Allin would be held in place by Cage, and Starks would hit a second rope Coffin Drop on Allin.
It’s very clear Allin will face Ricky Starks at All Out, it’s just unclear if it’ll be a handicap match involving Brian Cage. What do you expect the All Out match to be? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
