The Dark Order are gaining power steadily in AEW, and three of their best grunts have a chance to get a massive win tonight on AEW. John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Five (formerly Alan Angels) will face Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks, the core team of The Elite. Will this match follow the obvious route, or would Dark Order get the biggest win of their existence?
Dark Order Are In Top Form Tonight
Five would start this match alongside Nick Jackson, with Nick hitting a big dropkick before this one already spills out to the ramp. They’d trade control before Five would be sent into the ring and Nick would hit a springboard armdrag. Five would gain control, but he’d miss the tag to Matt, and the Young Bucks would hit a double dropkick. Matt would hit a series of Northern Lights suplexes, only to be stopped by Silver & Reynolds.
Kenny Omega would be tagged in, and an elevated Kotaro Crusher would drive Five hard into the mat. Omega would have complete control over Five, nailing big chops and hitting the rolling fireman’s carry, but Silver would grab the leg as he tried for moonsault. He’d be taken to the outside, and a chair would come into play, being kicked into his head. Matt would try to save Kenny, and be dropped on his head with a brainbuster.
Silver would tag in and as we go into a commercial break, Omega would be isolated as they make quick tags in and out. Dark Order are a well oiled machine on this night, with a loss here potentially impacting Mr. Brodie Lee in the main event. Five would batter Omega with kicks, and go for a double stomp, missing and letting Omega nail a big lariat.
The Young Bucks Bring This One Back
Nick Jackson would be tagged in and wipe the floor with the Dark Order. Spin kicks, roundhouse kicks, foot stomps, backstabbers and more. Matt would join him and their tag team chemistry is as good as ever, hitting a shotgun dropkick bulldog combo. Omega would be tagged in, and all three men would rush into the corner into Reynolds.
He’d miss and Dark Order would take advantage of a tired Omega, nearly getting pinned. Omega would rally back and hit some Snap Dragon Suplexes and a V-Trigger knee strike, and tag in Nick. The Meltzer Driver would be attempted, but countered both of the Young Bucks would be hit with Tombstone Piledrivers. Five would hit a double stomp, and Omega would prevent this from being a pin.
Matt would hit a huge superkick, but run into the boot from Five. He’d go for springboard moonsault, but take a double superkick from the bucks. Omega would help with an assisted Meltzer Driver into One Winged Angel, and this one was done.
Omega grabbed a chair after this match, and wanted to powerbomb Five onto it. Matt would try to stop him, but once again Omega is slipping into this old evil ways. Can Kenny Omega get back to not wanting to completely destroy his opponents? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
