With PAC unable to come to the USA to complete Death Triangle, the Lucha Bros found a new ally in the Butcher & The Blade. Their styles have all meshed very nicely, and they’ve found some great success already. Tonight, they face a motley crew of wrestlers as they deal with Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, QT Marshall and Dustin Rhodes, with Marko Stunt also flopping around at ringside. Would this odd pairing be able to get the win?
A Hot Start For The Butcher, The Blade & The Lucha Bros
Justin Roberts couldn’t even get the ring introductions done before this one broke down, with Butcher & Blade sending everyone to the outside and launching the Lucha Bros into the gaggle of people. This was a hot start to the match, and they’d get QT Marshall in the ring, who’d be taken out by Butcher & The Blade. Marshall would counter out with a handspring round kick and a big pop up forearm, before losing control of the four on one situation.
He’d slip out of a double back suplex attempt and tag Dustin Rhodes in, and the ageless veteran would take control of Blade with a series of deep arm drags. Once Blade broke out, Rhodes would be sent to the outside where he’d be mugged by everyone on the opposing team, their teamwork working perfectly. Pentagon would tag in, and several hard kicks to the leg would stagger Rhodes, and Fenix would tag in and run circles around Rhodes as we would go to a commercial break.
Throughout the break, Rhodes would be beat down some more, not able to keep up with his younger, faster opponents. He’d keep fighting though, and hit Blade with a snap powerslam and manage the tag to Luchasarus who’d take everyone out with ease. Jungle Boy would dive to the outside to take Butcher out, and then again to drop Fenix.
Jurassic Express Are The Difference Makers
Luchasarus wouldn’t have time for Pentagons grandstanding, kicking him in the face and nailing a chokeslam. Butcher would tag in, and we’d have a good ol’ fashioned hoss fight. Blade would help his partner, but a blind tag to QT Marshall would help. He’d nail a Diamond Cutter, and then things would break into a flurry of signature moves including a Canadian Destroyer from Rhodes, leaving just Jungle Boy, Pentagon and Blade standing.
There would be some miscommunication from Blade & Pentagon, leading to some infighting, allowing Jungle Boy to get a rollup after Blade would be shoved, ending this one early. They’d keep arguing after the match, as the winning team slipped away.
Eddie Kingston would hit the ring, and look to bring order to this situation. He’d say these are the best tag teams here, and they only lose when they’re divided. This pep talk would get everyone back on the same page, and Kingston might be what this group needed to become a faction. A wink from him might show some ill intentions from the mad king.
Do you think Kingston can make this crew into a great faction? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
