WWE fans have not seen Brock Lesnar since he lost to Drew McIntyre in the empty WWE performance center at Wrestlemania 36. This isn’t how any WWE career should end, especially not that of Brock Lesnar, but this could be the case. The eight time world champion might have just left the WWE once again.
WWE Shop Removes Brock Lesnar And All His Merchandise
Right now, if you go to WWE Shop and search for Brock Lesnar, you will get no results back. Earlier today someone noticed this, and this could point towards Lesnar being finished with WWE. If it was a technical error, it would likely be fixed hours later, and searching up any other active superstar or legend gets their merchandise showing up ready to be bought. So if you want a Suplex City shirt, it’s time to fire up eBay before the prices skyrocket.
While it could be that his contract is simply up, you can still go to WWE Shop and buy shirts for Lio Rush, Heath Slater and other released talent. This is a very rare occurrence, someone’s merch being completely removed.
The popular theory at the moment is that it is due to Brock Lesnar’s name being his real life name, and something he retains legal rights too. If he doesn’t have a WWE contract and didn’t like the merch deal he had, he’s in the right to pull it all down. WWE letting Lesnar go quietly right now makes sense, as he costs far too much per appearance to bring him in for more empty arena shows.
Likely To Be Back Eventually
At 43 years old, Lesnar has already retired from MMA twice, first in 2011 and again in 2017, closing the door to the UFC. While he might be gone from WWE right now, once things return to the status quo, we can expect to hear his music hit once again. As previously mentioned, Lesnar demands a heavy price tag to show up, which is often helped paid for by fans who will show up to see him.
If another company beyond WWE is willing to pay his price, he might show up. Otherwise, he might just stay at his ranch up in Canada and spend some time with his family before deciding if he’s done with professional wrestling or not.
