The AEW World Title Eliminator tournament rages on this week, and we might have the match of the tournament tonight. On one side, Kenny Omega (Tyson Smith on his real name) who has refound his killer instinct that brought him to the IWGP Heavyweight Champion. He will face Penta El Zero M, one of the most underused singles stars in AEW. They’ve only met once before, and that match almost went half an hour. This one should also be an absolute war.
Omega had another big entrance, with his sweepers mocking Penta by wearing lucha masks. Mind games are important when you know a big match is coming, he’s not gonna beat Penta in 26 seconds. One fall to a finish, thirty minute time limit, which might be relevant in this one. If it goes to the time limit or anything else forces a draw, Hangman Page just wins the tournament.
Kenny Omega Is Playing Mind Games
Omega would keep his shirt on when this match started, both a show of cockiness and some protection against hard chops. They’d lock up, and Omega got an aggressive side headlock, and be shoved off. Penta would drop down, and Omega stomped on his back.
Omega would show why he kept his shirt on, hiding the AAA Mega Championship, which he won from Rey Fenix. Even more mind games, as he’d just rile up Fenix at ringside. Penta urged Omega to throw strikes, and Omega took his shirt off and took all of the overhand chop.
For his next chop, Penta took his glove off, Omega caught it and slapped him across the face for it, but likely doesn’t want a gentleman’s duel. Omega wouldn’t let Penta hit the chop, as he kicked the knee of Penta and stomped his opponent into the mat.
Penta would get up and force Omega into the corner, his opponent flipping out, but finally taking that bare hand chop to the chest, and give a receipt kick to the leg. A backstabber would do some damage to Omega, who fled to the outside, taking a perfect dive from Penta.
Penta El Zero M Is Relentless
On the outside, Penta would get the better of the brawl, sending Omega into the barricade and ring post. More kicks would be sent to the leg of Omega, before he was taken back into the ring and stretched. Penta would take Omega to the outside, lariat him over the barricade and they’d brawl there, with Omega taking the upperhand, hitting a DDT on someone’s cooler.
Back in the ring, both would send hard strikes, but Omega hit a big hurricanrana. This sent Penta to the outside, and he went for the Terminator Dive, wiping Penta out. He was getting the crowd behind him, but got caught up in the moment and took a kick to the head getting back in the ring. This allowed Penta to dive to the outside, right onto Omega.
Sending Omega back in, he’d look for the double stomp. This was dodged, but so was the V-Trigger, but a pump kick from Penta got Omega right in the nose. A springboard slingblade got a near fall, and Penta went to the top rope. Omega did his best to fight Penta off to top, but was left hanging for a double stomp, another near fall following.
Not ready to give this one up, Omega would hit the snap dragon suplex. Omega had a crazed look in his eyes, and hit a second suplex, but Penta countered the third with some strikes. A hard knee would follow from Omega, then a powerbomb and an even harder knee strike, only getting a two count.

The V-Trigger was next, rocking Penta, but not enough to get the One Winged Angel. A spinning leg lariat to the back of the lead left Penta in the corner, and another V-Trigger would connect to the back of the head. Penta was put up top, and a top rope dragon suplex was the plan.
He’d fight off, and drop Omega with a headbutt, sending him to the ramp and hitting him with the destroyer. The Package Piledriver was next, and Omega still kicked out at two. Penta would set up something big, but Omega fought out with some elbows and an armdrag, but ate an Enzuguri to the side of the head.
He’d come back with another V-Trigger, but Penta countered the One Winged Angel into a wicked armbreaker. The pumphandle driver would be set up, and Omega fought out but his left arm was all he had. A superkick staggered him, and Penta went for the springboard slingblade, instead getting a knee under the chin.
Omega lifted him up, and dropped him with One Winged Angel to make the finals. It’s Page vs. Omega at Full Gear. Who will win? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
