G1 Climax 30 Night 10 sees IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental ‘Double Champion’ and Los Ingobernables de Japon (LIJ) leader Tetsuya Naito, two-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson, and current KOPW (presumably King of Pro Wrestling) titleholder Toru Yano battle for the top place in the bracket.
Tanahashi (Hontai) v Kenta (Bullet Club)
Former eight-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and G1 Climax 17, G1 Climax 25, and G1 Climax 28 winner Hiroshi Tanahashi face Bullet Club member and former NEVER Openweight Champion Kenta in the marquee match of G1 Climax 30 Night 10.
Tanahashi is coming off a victory against CHAOS member Yoshi-Hashi, while Kenta is coming off a loss to fellow Bullet Club member and former ‘Double Champion’ Evil.
Naito (LIJ) v Yoshi-Hashi (CHAOS)
The headline match sees CHAOS member Yoshi-Hashi face off against ‘Double Champion’ and LIJ leader Tetsuya Naito. While Yoshi-Hashi is coming off a loss to Tanahashi on Night 8, but his performance gives him a chance against Naito.
Fellow LIJ member Sanada was able to defeat Naito on Night 8, meaning the ‘Double Champion’ will look to regain his form against the massive underdog Yoshi-Hashi.
Evil (Bullet Club) v Juice (Hontai)
The former ‘Double Champion’ and Bullet Club member Evil goes into G1 Climax 30 Night 10 against former two-time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Juice Robinson coming off a victory against Bullet Club member Kenta.
Juice was able to see past CHAOS member Toru Yano’s mind games and sneak past the KOPW titleholder.
Both need a victory to allow themselves a chance to move to the G1 Climax 30 Finals.
Sanada (LIJ) v ZSJ (Suzuki-Gun)
Sanada is coming off his first G1 Climax 30 victory against LIJ leader Naito on Night 8, while Suzuki-Gun member and four-time Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr defeated CHAOS member former five-time NEVER Openweight Champion Hirooki Goto.
The two are known for their highly technical matches with Zack Sabre Jr having a 3-2 overall record against Sanada in singles competition. Sanada was unable to wrestle the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship away from Zack Sabre Jr at Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night 2 during their last meeting.
Sanada needs a victory to keep his chances of reaching G1 Climax 30 Finals alive.
Goto (CHAOS) v Yano (CHAOS)
During G1 Climax 30 Night 8 CHAOS member Hirooki Goto was unable to defeat Zack Sabre Jr while fellow CHAOS member Yano lost his first B Block match of the tournament to Juice Robinson.
Goto is looking to keep his tournament finals hopes alive as he currently sits at only 2 points. Will his friendship with Yano help him see past his tricks?
