Thunder Rosa just lost the NWA while up against Serena Deeb. Thunder Rosa has had multiple matches in AEW but lost the championship in a PrimeTime event. NWA relationship does seem to be growing with the current NWA Women’s Championship being signed with AEW. She also defended her championship this Wednesday against Leyla Hirsch .
Bidding war
Thunder Rosa seems to be in discussion with both AEW and WWE. This seemed to be confirmed by Dave Meltzer:
“Serena Deeb of AEW (sorry) won the NWA women’s title from Thunder Rosa tonight. We did hear about this likely happening and that both WWE & AEW had interest in her.”
It does seem like Thunder Rosa is playing off both sides to get a better deal. With her teasing on social media where she’s going. This is the smart move if both of them want her to be part of their roster.
Where should she go?
Looking at the state of the Women roster of AEW. Someone like Thunder Rosa could bring some greatness to it and maybe build it to become something great. With all her matches on the AEW being fantastic. There is the fact that there isn’t much effort put into the roster. Then there’s WWE that seems to bury every new member of their roster. Building them up from the ground up and acting like they haven’t done anything in the past.
WWE does seem to have a better roster at the moment but still has its faults. Looking at both of them, there’s no wrong answer. Personally, I think AEW could be the best fit as it needs someone like Thunder Rosa to build up the roster and lead it to glory in the future. Where do you think Thunder Rosa should go?
