Murphy and Aalyah Mysterio then came to the ring arm in arm as WWE Smackdown Results headed to commercial.
In the ring, Murphy started by saying there’s something he needed to get off his chest.
He said he understands why Rey and Dominik Mysterio despise him, but he’s not the same person.
He got that he did terrible things, but as a man, he needs to apologize to Rey and Dominik face to face and asked for them to come to the ring.
When no one came out, he begged them to come out and that he needs to apologize.
Again, nothing happened and he and Aalyah had a brief exchange before Seth Rollins’ music played and he came out.
Rollins said that Murphy knew what he was about to say, and that’s that Rey and Dominik will never forgive or accept him as he is. Most importantly, they won’t accept his relationship with Aalyah.
Rollins then said that even though they wouldn’t accept him, Rollins will always accept him as he is.
He said he’ll forgive Murphy for what he did and he’ll embrace their relationship wholeheartily.
He even offered to marry them on the spot if they want.
It’s complicated
He added that he accepts Murphy, but also Aalyah. It doesn’t matter what her name is, because he can see the understanding in her eyes that he’s not the bad guy.
He said that to him, the way Rey’s been acting means he’s tyring to control Aalyah. He called Dominik a coward, but he was interrupted by Dominik.
Murphy pulled Dominik off of Rollins and kicked him out of the ring, and then Murphy and Dominik got into it.
Rey came out and knocked Murphy into the ropes an dwent for a 619, but Aalyah stepped in front of him, then refused to leave with him.
She said she loves Murphy and won’t go with him or Dominik.
Rey kept trying to take her hand to lead her away, but she kept refusing.
Rey and Dominik left the ring and Aalyah and Murphy embraced.
When Rey said he was asking her to leave with them for the last time, she kissed Murphy.
Backstage, Daniel Bryan was getting warmed up when he was asked is seeing what Jey Uso is going through has changed his outlook at all.
He said that hasn’t but seeing Jey push Reigns to the limit and that Reign hasn’t beaten him has given him the desire and determination to face him.
This should be a good one and WWE Smackdown Results are looking forward to it.
