Brodie Lee hasn’t been seen since his match with Cody Rhodes for the TNT title belt. It is now being reported by Dave Meltzer that he is actually injured from an ankle injury. Brodie Lee’s disappearance was originally thought of being a story angle with him just disappearing after his big defeat. It was surprising that we also didn’t see him in BTE. With him and the Dark Order being one of the most popular segments of the show. This does explain his surprise disappearance though as he was one of the main parts of AEW.
Could he return with his WWE brother?
It feels like Brodie Lee does make his return; it could be a massive event which could be bigger than returning with a new member of the Dark Order. Maybe with his old tag partner from WWE; Erick Rowan. He was rumoured to make an appearance on AEW a while back in a tapping of the first match with Cody Rhodes but that never happened. This could be a big event to bring back the now known as Erick Redbeard as he hasn’t made a wrestling appearance since his release from WWE a while back now. Him joining the Dark Order could bring some massive change to the faction. Maybe even starting the rumoured civil war within the Dark Order but at the moment anything is possible for the Dark Order.
When could we see Brodie Lee return?
We now have the confirmed returning period for Brodie Lee. It has been reported that he has suffered an ankle injury and depending on how bad the injury is, he could be out for 8 to 12 weeks. With him suffering this injury at the start of October against Cody. He could realistically return pretty soon. Maybe this month or the mouth after. We do not know what type of ankle injury this is though, so it could be considerably longer. Let’s hope to see the Exalted One return sooner rather than later.
