The WWE Universe’s wait for Survivor Series this year is fast approaching, as the final touches on Team Raw and Team SmackDown are set to be made this week. The spaces on Team Raw have been filled, which means that the only thing left to be decided is the man that will be taking on Roman Reigns in the champion vs champion match.
That superstar will be determined this evening, as the WWE Championship will be on the line in a match between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. But, as well as one of those superstars missing one of the biggest shows of the year, which other superstars are set to miss out on Survivor Series this year?
WWE News: The Miz
The Miz is one of the most intriguing superstars on the WWE roster at present, and that is largely down to the fact that he is holding the Money in the Bank contract. The unpredictability of the briefcase is one of the many reasons that it has made for gripping television throughout its history.
The Miz isn’t scheduled to compete in a regular match this weekend, as he isn’t part of the Raw team, but that doesn’t mean that we won’t see him. Instead, The Miz could make a shock appearance and cash in on Randy Orton for the second time in his career. It would certainly make for Must See television, and it’s hard to argue against the fact that it would be awesome.
WWE News: Big E
The WWE’s decision to split up The New Day caused shockwaves around the world, as many were disappointed that their record breaking run was to come to an end. The WWE teased that there would be a big push for Big E as a singles star, but we are yet to see that, as he has been left of the SmackDown team for this weekend’s event. There would be two ways that Big E is included this weekend, with one of those seeing the star added to the team.
Meanwhile, he could also be ringside for The New Day against the Street Profits, which could see the biggest change in his character for years should he cost the New Day.
WWE News: Bayley
Bayley’s record breaking run as the SmackDown Women’s Champion was brought to an end by her best friend Sasha Banks at the Hell in a Cell PPV, and there isn’t any plan at present for her to be involved in Survivor Series. Of course, there’s still time for this to change as it would make sense for her to be involved on the team. She last appeared on SmackDown this past week, as she distracted Sasha Banks to allow Carmella to attack the current champion. We may find out this week if she will be added to the blue team.
