WWE Smackdown Results arrived backstage as Daniel Bryan was asked about his growing feud with Sami Zayn and their match tonight.
Bryan said his strategy is acceptance and zen because he’s had to accept that Jey Uso is more dangerous than ever.
He also had to accept that Zayn is delusional for thinking he’s a genius in the ring, and Bryan pointed out that Zayn is a master of finding a loophole.
He added that Zayn thinks everyone if out to get him, but he only wants the Intercontinental Championship and he’ll break Zayn’s delusions.
King Corbin mocks the Mysterios
Back from commercial, Rey, Dominik, Aalyah Mysterio joined Kayla with Murphy.
Rey said it’s been a rough few months, but they’re incredibly balanced now and he’s thankful for seeing his son’s career is taking off and Aalyah is a confident women as well as Murphy realizing what Rollins is.
King Corbin came up and called Murphy a joke for beating Rollins once, and then called Murphy out by saying he won’t be around next year.
Looks like we know how Dominik and/or Murphy will be feuding with.
Goodbye, Deadman
The Undertaker’s final farewell was next, beginning with an awesome video package that has been making the rounds on social media for a week or two.
It showed some of his greatest moments over the last thirty years as well as interviews from some of his peers over the years.
They added Vince McMahon’s introduction of the Deadman at Survivor Series followed by the Undertaker saying the time has come for him to let the Undertaker rest in peace.
We have more awesome memories over the years thanks to the Undertaker than we can remember.
I saw his first match (pre-Survivor Series) on Superstars where he one his first match and started a phenomena.
Whether it was against the Rock, Steve Austin, or when Kane ripped the door off the cell when Taker was wiping the floor with Shawn Michaels, he never failed to deliver.
It’s hard to say goodbye to one of our favorites of all time, but father time catches up with everyone at some point.
From all of us at WWE Smackdown Results, thank you for the memories, Undertaker. Enjoy your much deserved retirement.
