Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and it looks like we’re going to have a fun night for Raw’s Go Home episode for the Royal Rumble.
The last two weeks have been two of the better episodes recently, and with Drew McIntyre coming back we’re expecting big things tonight.
WWE Raw Live Results are going to grab some snacks and we’ll see you all back here at the 8 p.m. EST showtime.
Segment 1
Drew McIntyre returned and dedicated his and Goldberg’s match to everyone dealing with COVID.
Miz and John Morrison came out and did their usual, then Goldberg came out.
McIntyre hit Morrison with a Claymore and Goldberg hit Miz with a spear before they had a stare down and Goldberg headed to the back.
Segment 2
retain the championship and she’ll go on to win the Women’s Royal Rumble.
Charlotte Flair vs. Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax
This was a fast one that Flair won by DQ after Jax hit her with a leg drop after she locked in a figure 4.
Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose came down to help Flair, then Lacey Evans attacked Flair from behind.
Wanna bet there’s a 6 person tag match after the commercial?
Segment 3
Charlotte Flair, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke vs. Lacey Evans, Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax
Flair and company won a so so match after Baszler pushed Flair into the ring but didn’t make the ten count.
This was just… bad. it felt like something thrown together at the last minute and both opening matches could’ve been so much more.
Segment 4
Third time’s the charm as Adam Pearce restarted the match during the commercial break.
This one was better than the first two by far, and ended when Jax hit a leg drop on Brooke for the pin after Flair chased Evans into the backstage area.
Segment 5
Xavier Woods vs. Slapjack w/Mustafa Ali, T-Bar, Mace, Reckoning
Woods won a quick but fun match but was then overpowered by Retribution.
Ali teased hitting him with a steel chair and told him to tell Kingston that Ali was replacing him in the Royal Rumble match.
Segment 6
VIP Lounge
What started off as a group tribute for MVP ended when R-Truth and the 24/7 crew came out.
While the Hurt Business was busy cleaning up, Riddle snuck into the ring and hit MVP with a Final Flash Knee from behind and then ran off.
Segment 7
R-Truth asked Adam Pearce for a chance to prove himself in the MITB match, and AJ Styles came up and said Truth meant the Royal Rumble.
Being the benevolent dick…tator Styles is, he offered to give Truth a chance to enter and Pearce made the match.
Segment 8
Sheamus vs. John Morrison w/The Miz
Sheamus won after hitting a White Noice, but this was a great match and possible match of the night as we finally got to see Morrison and Sheamus put on a match they’re capable of.
Of course, the Miz then challenged Sheamus to a 2 on 1 match to injure him before the Royal Rumble and Sheamus agreed. So that’s next.
Segment 9
2 on 1 Handicap Match – Sheamus vs. The Miz and John Morrison
Despite being a gimmick match, this was as good as the previous match as they three pulled out all the stops before Miz hit a Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
Segment 10
AJ Styles w/Omos vs. R-Truth
This was a quick match but it was nice to see Truth come close before Styles slapped on a Calf Crusher for the win.
Segment 11
Alexa Bliss cut an awesome promo from Alexa’s Playground where she recapped the last couple of weeks and promised she doesn’t intend to play nice tonight.
Segment 12
The Hurt Business Gauntlet
Riddle vs. Shelton Benjamin w/MVP, Cedric Alexander
This was a great match that Benjamin had won but Alexander distracted the referee by accident.
Riddle vs. MVP w/Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander
MVP tried to calm Benjamin and Alexander down as the bell rang and Riddle rolled him up and slapped on a leg lock for the win.
Segment 13
The Hurt Business Gauntlet Continued
Riddle vs. Cedric Alexander w/MVP and Shelton Benjamin
This was another great one as Riddle absorbed tons of punishment and a series of reversals before Riddle rolled Alexander up for the win.
Segment 14
Edge cut an awesomely inspiring promo about never giving up when pursing our dreams, and announced he’s entering the Royal Rumble.
He needs to win the Rumble, main event WrestleMania, and win back the championship he had to give away 10 years ago due to injury.
Segment 15
Raw Women’s Championship – Asuka (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
This started off fast as Asuka took the fight to Bliss, but Bliss fought back and sent her to the floor with a kick while she never stopped smiling.
Carnival music played and Bliss was riding a rocking horse in the ring while Asuka looked on and we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
Bliss did a couple of costume changes to her old costume, and then to the Fiendess to finish Asuka.
Bliss powered out of the Asuka Lock and slapped on an Mandible Claw, but Randy Orton appeared behind her without his mask and hit an RKO as the show went off the air.
This was about the only way they could end this match without either Asuka or Bliss looking weak, so we can’t argue that.
Overall, the show wasn’t as good as the last two weeks as the first hours was just rough at best. After that it improved.
What did you all think of it? Let us know in the comment below, and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results.
We had a blast and can’t wait to see you all next time.
