Impact Wrestling Preview is looking forward to this one as what started at a tribute to Tommy Dreamer last week by Rich Swann quickly went sideways when Swann’s challengers lined up.
Dreamer turns 50 on February 13th, which just so happens to be the No Surrender pay-per-view. As a gift and homage, Swann offered to defend the Impact World Championship against him.
Dreamer was stunned, and this led to the TNA World Champion Moose and Chris Bey coming out and eventually led to an eight man tag match that saw the return of Trey Miguel.
Now, we get a fun rematch of sorts as Swann and Dreamer take on Moose and Chris Bey.
This is going to be a fun one as Moose and Bey are Swann’s top two challengers, and Dreamer has made it a point to tell Swann they’re a team so he doesn’t go it alone and possible get hurt.
It’s cool how Dreamer’s concern also falls in line with his desire to possible win the Impact world title, so could there be a heel turn coming?
This is going to be fun, and we expect this to showcase Swann vs. Moose to add to their rivalry going forward.
Matt Hardy and Private Party to Appear
As the build to Private Party’s match against the Good Borthers at No Surrender builds, we’re curious if this will be another backstage promo cut or if Matt will lead them into a confrontation.
We’re not expecting anything major since Matt wants to make sure he gets paid, but a fun back and forth between him and his team and The Good Brothers would be something to see.
Maybe a good old fashioned drinking contest between the two teams? What could possibly go wrong?
Jordynne Grace w/Jazz vs. Susan w/Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee
Just when it looked like it was safe to taunt and brag, Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee managed to pick the wrong time to claim to be done with Jordynn Grace and Jazz.
Of course, Grace and Jazz heard them and took exception to being considered castoffs.
Susan stepped to the fore and got into Grace’s face, much to the surprise of everyone else. What was pretty funny was how Purrazzo and Lee don’t want anyone to mention Susie or Su Yung to her.
Guess they’re that desperate to keep those personalities hidden and Impact Wrestling Preview can’t blame them. Though it was fun to see what Su Yung planned for them each week.
Back to the topic at hand, Susan and Grace will face off for the first time tonight and we’ll get to see a little more of Susan in action.
An added bonus will be seeing Jazz deal with Purrazzo and Lee at ringside as we’re sure she won’t let them get involved as much as they’d like.
Which match are you looking forward to seeing? Let us know that and who you think will win in the comments below.
