This one was a long time coming. Back in early 2020 before NXT UK shut down due to the pandemic, someone had attacked Flash Morgan Webster. Then after the restart, someone attacked Mark Andrews. We always figured it was Eddie Dennis, but that was only half right. Instead, Dennis had manipulated The Hunt (Wild Boar & Primate) to do his dirty work, and beat down their old friends.
Flash Morgan Webster Is Isolated
Tonight, this issue explodes into a big street fight on NXT UK. Ahead of the match, Andrews & Webster took out Wild Boar, forcing Eddie Dennis to step into the match himself, teaming with Primate for this huge main event. Andrews & Webster thought that they evened the odds, but might have made things much worse.
This one wouldn’t start in the ring, instead with Primate & Dennis attacking Andrews & Webster backstage. Andrews was put through a table and had an equipment case driven into him. Primate would drag Webster to the ring, with Dennis shortly behind.
This one can’t start until they reach the ring, and Webster was ready to start even at the disadvantage. He’d trip Primate out of the ring and nail Destino on Dennis for a near fall, before going to the top rope. Primate would be kicked off, but Webster dove over the head of Dennis and had to send him outside. Webster nailed Primate with a pump kick, before taking the belt of Dennis across the back.
Primate dropped him with a scoop slam, and Dennis lashed him again. Webster remained defiant, but was thrown over the barricade onto the concrete. Primate held his arms back as Dennis just slapped him, and once free, just beat him down into the ground.
Mark Andrews Takes Flight
Just when things were looking dire for Webster, Andrews had finally recovered and climbed the NXT UK set. He soared onto Dennis & Primate with a 20ft high moonsault, wiping them out. Now that all four men were here, this one was even and it split into Dennis & Webster and Andrews & Primate. They’d brawl past the set of Supernova Sessions, which went undamaged.
Dennis was sent into the steel post by Webster, but Andrews was sent hard over the barricade and Primate leapt onto him to keep the beating going. A steel chair was handed to Primate, but everyone grabbed a chair and entered the ring. They’d all swing for the fences in a duel of steel, with Dennis being the last one standing until Webster used his entrance helmet to take him out.
Primate went for a back suplex, Webster landed on his feet and nailed a headbutt, before Dennis whacked him with a kendo stick from behind. Andrews kicked Dennis in the head, before having the previously injured knee kicke. But Andrews still hit Stundog Millionaire, before being hit in the knee again by Primate, this time with the kendo stick.
Eddie Dennis Gets His Comeuppance
Primate nailed a knee breaker, and Dennis then slammed it off a steel chair. Andrews was locked in a submission, but they let him go to keep inflicting punishment. They’d isolate the knee for Dennis to crush it with the chair, but Webster made the last minute save. He’d take the chair and hit a springboard moonsault onto Primate & Dennis.
Webster would run them down with lariats before a missile dropkick to Dennis. Primate finally shut him down, but Andrews had enough to set up a Sunset Bomb off the apon, Webster preventing Primate from holding on with a running knee strike. They’d need to get him back in the ring to pin him, odd choice for a Street Fight.
However Dennis was in the ring alone now, and both Andrews & Webster had kendo sticks. After months of abuse, Dennis would be battered for his actions. A table came into play, and Dennis was set up. Primate tried to make the save, and got Andrews with a German Suplex. Webster hit a senton bomb after Dennis rolled off the table, but Primate made the save.
After taking out Webster too, Primate set the table in the corner. Dennis set up the Razor’s Edge, but Andrews made the save. Primate ran Andrews through with a spear, and Dennis would set up the top rope Razor’s Edge instead. Webster countered into a hurricanrana, and Andrews dodged a spear which sent Primate through the table. Both Andrews & Webster went up top and nailed dives, ending this match.
An absolute fight from start to finish, and a very satisfying way to close out this bitter feud between these men. The right men won, Dennis got his comeuppance, and it was wonderfully brutal. Match Rating: 3.75/5 (*** ¾)
