To kick off BTE, we got a video of Matt Jackson getting told by his kids who AEW signed. This being Big Show going by the name Paul Wight due to the copyright of his WWE name.
After this, Matt remembered his matched in WWE with Big Show in WWE Smackdown. This has Matt freak out over Big Show joining AEW and leaving the house.
The segment might tease a future interaction between both Big Show and Matt in the future. We could either see a match on the cards, but it’s more likely that we see the Big Show on BTE in the future. As he is known for his humour backstage, making BTE the best place for him.
It also looked like Kenny Omega was remembering the Deep South days.
It also felt like Kenny Omega was going down memory lane by opening WCW cards in the show. This felt like Kenny Omega was remembering his time in WWE development brand Deep South. The promotion was one of Kenny Omega’s first wrestling companies.
Making it feel like all the Elite were feeling very nostalgic in this episode of BTE.
