WWE Raw Preview is all set for a celebration tonight.
With his championship win last week over the Miz in what was a cool experience, if a bit underwhelming, Bobby Lashley is all set to celebrate with The Hurt Business.
This has plenty of possibilities as we expect challengers to come out to confront him and interrupt the party.
There are plenty to choose from, and we expect Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and even the Miz to make a pitch to have a shot at the championship.
Well, we doubt the Miz will actually make a pitch as he’s more likely to claim foul and demand the championship is returned to him.
Because of that, we won’t be surprised is there’s a rematch and Lashley destroys the Miz in less time than previously.
Other challengers
Drew McIntyre will be at the top of the list and it’s rumored he’ll win the title back at WrestleMania in front of a crowd, but we hope that’s not what’s planned.
We love McIntyre and he had a great run, but the WWE really messed it up by having him lose twice in one year.
The first to Randy Orton was a feud that lasted way too long between the two and Orton should’ve won the title earlier if he was going to, and the second came in an effort to push Lashley to the top.
The problem with Lashley’s win is there wasn’t much hype and it felt more like an effort to turn him face than keep him as a monster.
However that works out, WWE Raw Preview thinks he should carry the title for a full year.
It’s what they should’ve done with McIntyre.
AJ Styles would be a fun match and with Omos in his corner it could open the door for a great back and forth between them.
Other champions to be challenged
Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin have been a great tag team and have taken us up and down the rollercoaster on their way to win tag team gold, and we expect them to be challenged as well as Lashley.
The top pick would be the New Day since they need a hundredth title run, but this could be Mace and T-Bar of Retribution’s to right their earlier lose to the Hurt Business and establish themselves as serious threats.
Or we could have a new team appear and looking to make a name for themselves.
Whoever it is, we expect to see a tag team match with the Hurt Business tonight and it may even be a championship match to boot.
Who do you think will risk interrupting Lashley’s celebration with challenges?
