We should have a fun night ahead of us as Big E’s returning and Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan will sign the contract for their match at WWE Fastlane.
Alrighty, let’s settle in and get to the action!
Looks like we have a change of pace tonight as Edge came out to start the show.
Edge started off mentioned the contract signing between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, but he turned his attention to his name being mentioned and brought up Reigns first.
He pointed out how Reigns said Edge shouldn’t face him because of his family, and then how Reigns and Heyman wanted him to acknowledge him as the main event at WrestleMania.
He did that when he made his choice, and then pointed out he’s the carpenter of Smackdown and the table Reigns sits out.
He shifted gears to how Bryan went into business for himself and pulled a fast one on Reigns.
Edge took offense to Bryan saying he’s wrestled more than them, and listed how he was wrestling 5-6 matches a week against the likes of the Undertaker, Terry Funk, and other greats why Bryan wrestles once a week.
He then pointed out he loves wrestling just as much if not more, and said he’ll have to wait to see who he’ll face at WrestleMania.
Dream match potential
Daniel Bryan then came out, interrupting Edge.
Bryan said Edge got sucked in and was affected by that and that wasn’t his intention. He added that he figured Edge would appreciate him making an opportunity for himself.
He said how he has infinite amount of respect for Edge and he sees how much he’s fought to get back and how much he loves it.
He said it wasn’t about Edge when he challenged Reigns for the Universal Championship.
He added that he was demoralized when Edge pointed at the WrestleMania sign while he was on his back and decided he was going to go all in for one last shot.
Bryan reminded Edge that he has his spot in WrestleMania, and that’s why he had to go into business for himself.
Edge pointed out that Reigns defeated him at the Elimination Chamber while he won the Royal Rumble.
He admitted he has respect for Bryan and he likes him, he just doesn’t like how he did this and he’s better than this. But Bryan’s not better than him.
