Back when AEW was just getting started, Anthony Ogogo was signed as a future prospect. This was an olympic level boxer, having won the bronze medal in 2012. He might be half blind, but when it comes to professional wrestling, he sees clearly what he needs to do. Joining up with QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solow, he is looking to take AEW by storm, starting tonight with his debut match. It’s been a long road to get here, and QT Marshall might have trained an absolute killer.
It Only Takes One Punch From Anthony Ogogo To End A Fight, As Cole Carter Learns
With all his allies by his side, and a smooth theme song, and after dropping Rhodes at the House Always Wins with a punch? Ogogo is ready to go. He’d be met by Cole Carter, and they’d lock up in the middle of the ring. Ogogo would get the rear waist lock, before hitting the punch to the stomach. This was deemed a KO punch, and gave Ogogo his first win.
When you can win a match with a single punch to the stomach, you’re going to be going places. Many were unsure about The Factory as a faction, unsure of these untested talents and them being led by QT Marshall. However, this is a platform for men like Anthony Ogogo to become stars. He’s already a minor celebrity in the UK, but this could be his chance to blow up worldwide.
Do you think Anthony Ogogo has what it takes to be a start in professional wrestling? Will he sink in longer matches? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
