Darby Allin is quickly making a case for him being the best TNT Champion yet, over both Cody Rhodes and the late Mr. Brodie Lee. After a rocky start thanks to an endless feud with Team Taz involving Sting, he’s wasted no time getting a series of great defenses down. Joey Janela, John Silver, Matt Hardy, Jungle Boy, JD Drake, and Scorpio Sky have all fallen to Darby Allin, unable to find a way to keep him down.
After being attacked by Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky after his match with Jungle Boy, many thought Page would be getting the next shot, reigniting their feud from Evolve Wrestling. However, that isn’t the case, and instead Allin has called out another opponent. That is Preston Vance, aka 10 of The Dark Order.
Preston Vance Gets Called Out
Taking to Twitter, Darby Allin had a message for the standout from The Dark Order. “The last time I stepped foot in the ring with a dark order member I beat Jon Silver After he dislocated shoulder that’s not a win I’ll accept. Preston Vance, Brodie handpicked you as his protege. If you ain’t doing shit Wednesday you know what this means…..”
While no official match announcement has been made, that one tweet was enough to get fans excited for a match between Allin & Vance. Vance has been getting bigger chances as of late, even main eventing the Brodie Lee tribute show, after being hand picked by Brodie Lee’s son as one of his favorite wrestlers.
Darby Allin Has Been Working Hard As TNT Champion
This will be Allin’s sixth defense in a row, seventh counting the untelevised defense against Butcher at The House Always Wins. He’s yet to lose a match in 2021, and his rapid pace of defenses is really elevating this title as of late. This makes this a huge chance for Preston Vance, and could very well be his breakout singles match.
With the hopes of The Dark Order behind him, Vance will no doubt accept this challenge, and look to bring the belt back to Dark Order. John Silver couldn’t do it, but can Preston Vance beat Darby Allin? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
