We are just six days away from WrestleMania, and the final Raw before the biggest show of the year takes place tonight. It looks set to be one of the biggest episodes of Raw for some time, as some of the superstars involved in the biggest matches taking place this weekend look for a last push for momentum ahead of the grand stage. But, what could we see happen on Raw this evening with Mania so close in the distance?
WWE News: McIntyre Beats Corbin, But A New Threat Emerges
Baron Corbin’s inclusion in the main event scene on Raw is strange to say the least. Of course, Corbin has history with both superstars competing for the WWE Championship, but surely the WWE could have come up with a greater challenge for McIntyre on his road to Mania.
The Hurt Business were effectively ended on Raw last week, which could mean that Lashley may also need to watch his own back on Raw, as Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander look for revenge. But, could it be a new face joining the Hurt Business that lays down the challenge and cleans out McIntyre just before one of the biggest matches of his career?
WWE News: Stipulation Added For Wyatt/Orton
The rivalry between Randy Orton and The Fiend will come to a close at Mania this coming weekend. However, as things stand it looks set to be a singles match. There may be a reason for that, as fans will be back in attendance for the two-night affair this year.
However, we could see a stipulation added to their match this weekend. That would make sense, as Wyatt is a superstar that has thrived in the unique and crazy matches. It would also be a smart way to bring an end to their rivalry, and also give Orton some time away from the ring to let the dust settle.
WWE News: Rhea Ripley Turns On Asuka
As seems to be the case for every rivalry that the WWE doesn’t really have much planned, we will see Asuka and Rhea Ripley join forces on Raw this week to take on the Women’s Tag Team champions.
There will need to be a screwy finish to this match to set up the Mania match between the pair. Either of the superstars could realistically turn on their partner, but we would prefer to see Ripley attack Asuka to raise the ante ahead of the Mania showdown between the two superstars.
