Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and tonight we’re kicking off a few new championship reigns as well as continuing another.
It should be an action packed show as we relive parts of WrestleMania 37 and begin new storylines for a new crop of champions.
WWE Raw Live Results will see you all at tonight’s 8 p.m. EST showtime, so let’s get ready for a fun ride.
Segment 1
Bobby Lashley w/MVP vs. Riddle
This was a mauling before the bell rang, and Lashley pressed slammed Riddle over the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
Riddle had a brief flurry and went for a Floating Bro, but Lashley avoided it and slapped on the Hurt Lock for the submission.
Does this mean Riddle’s out of contention or will he keep nagging for a shot the next few weeks?
Segment 3
Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar)
This was a great match and it’s awesome seeing Ivar and Erik back and together after being injured.
Alexander and Benjamin controlled a good portion of the match before Ivar overpowered them and they hit the Viking Experience on Alexander for the win.
Segment 4
Charlotte Flair returned and went full heel as she called out the entire roster and fans for claiming she steels opportunities, saying she makes opportunities.
She really nailed it. This was probably the best promo we’ve seen her cut yet,
Segment 5
Raw Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Asuka
We don’t want to say Ripley’s dominating, but it’s pretty close to that despite Asuka fighting back. Ripley knocked her off the top rope with a dropkick as we headed to commercial.
Segment 6
This was a great match, and while they fought on the floor Charlotte Flair came out and sent both into the ring side and beat both down.
Hate to say it but it was obvious this would happen but it was still good seeing Flair back.
Segment 7
Alexa Bliss’ Playground.
Bliss did an awesome dark promo where she said she learned everything from the darkness, including that she doesn’t need the darkness.
She introduced her new friend Lily, that’s a puppet version of her and it snapped at the camera.
Segment 8
Miz TV with The Miz, John Morrison, and Maryse
They did their normal patting themselves on the back for helping Bad Bunny succeed at WrestleMania.
Damian Priest came out and called them out and accepted their challenge for a handicap match after calling them idiots.
Segment 9
2-on-1 Handicap Match – The Miz and John Morrison w/Maryse vs. Damian Priest
This was a good match that ended when Priest stopped short of hitting Maryse and Miz rolled him up and put his feet on the ropes for the win.
Segment 10
Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax vs. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke
This was a decent match until Jax slipped on the apron for comedic relief, and Rose and Brooke took off and accepted a count out loss to avoid her wrath.
Segment 11
MVP cut a in ring promo about Bobby Lashley, and McIntyre, Strowman, and Orton came out to vie for the top spot to face Lashley.
Adam Pearce came out and announced they’ll be in a triple threat match later tonight and the winner with face Lashley at Backlash.
Segment 12
Elias and Jaxon Ryker vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)
After a brief exchange where the New Day considered Elias and Ryker being manhandled by Strowman worse than them being mauled by Omos, the match got started.
The New Day wasted no time in throwing them to the floor and hitting a double dive as we headed to commercial.
Segment 13
Elias and Ryker looked their best, but it wasn’t enough as Woods hit a double stomp off the top rope on Elias for the win.
Segment 14
Firefly Fun House returned and Bray Wyatt welcomed us all back and promised that everything will be bigger and better now that they have their real friends there.
Segment 15
Triple Threat Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman vs. Randy Orton
This started off with McIntyre and Orton double teaming Strowman, and then Strowman ran into the ring steps McIntyre help up and Orton suplexed McIntyre onto the announce desk as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
A fun match came down to Orton hitting a RKO on Strowman, and McIntyre breaking up the pin with a Claymore on Orton and stole the win by pinning Strowman.
MVP came out and T-Bar and Mace jumped McIntyre from behind and hit a double chokeslam. New members of the Hurt Business?
We love McIntyre, but we would’ve preferred to see Strowman win this to give McIntyre a break from the title picture.
Overall it was a pretty good show and we love the twist with Mace and T-Bar. What did you think of the match and night?
