Keith Lee has been out of action most of 2021, with his last match in February. His debut looked like it would be strong with him going into the main event picture and beating Randy Orton clean.
Then it was mentioned that he was on the road to win the USA Championship off Matt Riddle, but soon after that, he disappeared and hasn’t been seen since. It was said to be an injury that has put Keith Lee out, but now it seems like it’s due to creative issues with WWE.
Since coming to Raw, Keith Lee has had his theme, and his outfit changed. Taking away some of the elements that made Keith Lee so good, there is now another legal issue.
Trademark Conflict
Originally reported by HeelByNature, it has been suggested that now one of the reasons for Keith Lee not being in WWE as of late is the Trademark of his name.
It seems like both Keith Lee, himself, and WWE are trying to Trademark the name; Keith Lee. The Tweets Keith Lee’s posts make a little more sense now:
“Today is a day that can and will define the future. The wheels can have motion and move forward….or…. they can stop completely.
……Make your wheels turn. Accept no substitute.”
Then there’s his pinned tweet:
“I wanted to do something educational, but also inspiring to tell you guys about everything since late January. Seems that is off the table for now.
So….with that, I will find another way to tell guys about everything. It might simply be a video of me chatting with you. We’ll see.”
He has also changed his name to Optimistic Lee on Twitter…
We are happy to see that Kieth Lee should be wrestling again in the future but hope to see Kieth Lee soon.
