Right now in Ring of Honor (ROH), there is a brewing war between the three key factions. However, The Foundation is down a member for the time being. It has nothing to do with what happened in the ring, but rather what happened while Tracy Williams was simply walking his dog. He was hit by a car, and while in rough shape, is fine.
Tracy Williams Gives His Account Of The Injury
Taking to Twitter to give his fans an update, and let everyone know that above all he is fine. “Firstly, I’ll be okay. I got full on hit by a car yesterday x-ing the street. Guy blew a red going ~25mph. I flew for what felt like a full second, landed high on my back. Just so unbelievably lucky & grateful that my dog who was walking with me was somehow not hit & she’s okay.
I’d take the hit for her any day & it could’ve been so much worse. There are a lot of things about it that were lucky in that weird way. Like, it’s lucky this asshole idiot driver hit a 32 y/o pro wrestler & not the old couple that was crossing from the other side in front of me.
Also I now know that the times I said “I feel like I got hit by a car”, I really wasn’t THAT far off. Also annoying it wasn’t on camera because it must have looked insane.”
It will take more than being hit by a car to properly keep Williams down, and the road to recovery is one that he’s got no issues walking. Hot Sauce will likely come back even tougher after this.
Will Still Appear On ROH TV Due To Taped Matches
Right now, Williams is one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions alongside Rhett Titus. There is a taped defense coming up soon, as they defend against the former champions of Kenny Williams & Dragon Lee in a Pure Rules Tag Team Match. We will likely see this match, and any other that Williams was able to tape air.
ROH is likely taped up through their next PPV, with their coming shows focused on the Survival of the Fittest tournament, and the build to their next PPV. It’s unclear how many matches Williams had at the tapings, but they will be all we see from him before he recovers.
We here at TheOvertimer wish Williams a speedy recovery. He’s been on one of the best runs of his career, and will only come back twice as strong from this. What are some of your favorite matches from Tracy Williams? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
